The Tashtor Seneca system was a part of the Mid Rim's Tashtor sector.[1] It was connected to the Chalcedon system and the Petabys Station by the hyperlane known as the Great Gran Run.[2] The Tashtor Seneca system contained the location known as Tashtor Seneca, over which the forces of the Galactic Empire destroyed the Croc of Gold, the freighter of the Rebel Alliance operative Devon Fuller, during the Galactic Civil War.[3]

The Tashtor Seneca system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square J-16.[2]
