Tarascii Explosives was a subsidiary of BlasTech Industries that was licensed to produce baradium charges during the Galactic Civil War. During this time, sale of such explosives was restricted by the Imperial Security Bureau to only those companies that had proper licencing and permits, such as Tarascii Explosives, with the bureau maintaining a record of all sales made.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Tarascii Explosives was mentioned in the 2019 Star Wars Roleplaying supplement Gadgets and Gear, which was published by Fantasy Flight Games.[1] The company originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in Rules of Engagement: The Rebel SpecForce Handbook, Timothy S. O'Brien's 1997 supplement for West End Games's Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2]
