Tarabba Prime was a celestial body[3] located in the Tarabba system, a part of the Tarabba sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It was located on the super-hyperroute known as the Rimma Trade Route, which linked it to the Denab[2] and Tantra systems.[4]

Tarabba Prime was a major shipping and communications hub that was the nearest such location to the planet Utapau.[3] Situated near the edge of the Tarabba sector,[5] the former lay at a considerable distance from Utapau,[3] which was situated near the sector's center.[5]

Behind the scenes

Tarabba Prime was first mentioned in the 2005 reference book Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Incredible Cross-Sections by Curtis Saxton.[6] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Tarabba system, and therefore Tarabba Prime, in grid square M-19.[2]
