Tantlas were cyclopian scavengers native to Ealor.
Biology and appearance
They ate with long, sucker-tipped tongues that were one meter long. The creatures were about three meters long (tail included) and a meter high. Their flesh was favored by the predatory graiveh and their soft pelts by hunters, so that hunting had to be regulated to prevent extinction.[1]
Behavior
Small groups of ten to twelve individuals formed strong, protective familial bonds. The cubs were raised by their mothers for about a year although they were tended to by all adult members of the pack. They were typically found in rain forests, but had adapted to live on desert plateaus and icy wastelands.[1]
