The Talus Imperial Outpost, also known as the Imperial Military Outpost, was a major installation of the Galactic Empire on the Twin World of Talus. From above, the Talus Imperial Outpost resembled the Imperial crest.[1]
History
During the Galactic Civil War, the populations of the planets of the Corellian sector were sympathetic towards the cause of the Rebel Alliance. The Empire had therefore placed well-maintained fortified garrisons on these worlds, including the Imperial Outpost on Talus, in order to repress any uprising before it could take place.[1]
After the Battle of Yavin, the Imperial Navy special unit Black Epsilon was stationed at the outpost in order to counter Rebel activity in the Corellian system. Black Epsilon officers included Hakasha Sireen and Prisk Kith'Vys.[2]
In 1 ABY,[3] Imperial forces launched an attack from the Talus outpost to Corellia where they fought the Rebel 8th Division.[4]
Other Imperial personnel stationed at the outpost after the Battle of Yavin included Ceth Laike, Gravin Attal, Lethin Bludder, Officer Edgar, Staff Sergeant Rothax, and Xalox Guul.[5]

- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
