"Talon Nine" was the call sign of a female pilot who flew an X-wing starfighter for the New Republic Starfighter Command as part of Talon Squadron.[1]
During a simple mission to follow a lone TIE Interceptor in a New Republic-controlled system, Talon Squadron was ambushed at Gravan Seven by numerically superior forces belonging to Warlord Zsinj. "Talon Nine" died when she banked into a volcano wall.[1]
