New Republic Starfighter Command

New Republic Starfighter Command, sometimes simply referred to as Starfighter Command, was the entity of the Combined Defense Forces of the New Republic associated with starfighter-craft units. It is unknown if it was a separate branch from the New Republic Defense Fleet or the Army.

Officers of Starfighter Command used a mix of Navy and Army ranks, including Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Commander, Colonel, and General. The lowest rank in Starfighter Command was Flight officer, which was equivalent to a Navy Ensign.

The famous starfighter unit Rogue Squadron served in Starfighter Command.

Notable pilots within Starfighter Command include Wedge Antilles, Tycho Celchu and Horton Salm.
