Birth
If Yoda was born 900 years before The Battle of Endor, wouldn't that mean he was born 896 Years Before the Battle of Yavin or is it never specified ?
- Yes, Yoda was indeed born in 896 BBY. AdamSci-Fi (talk) 10:30, January 14, 2017 (UTC)
Failed edit
I have been trying all day to accomplish an edit of Yoda's page as a result of the recent episode of Star Wars Rebels, but each time it has failed because of an extension. Can someone tell me what is wrong, and why I can't edit? --Bad'Wolf (talk) 15:02, March 3, 2016 (UTC)
- Strange, I just tried to edit the whole article and it worked. May be you try to insert something like that [[Yoda]]'s instead of [[Yoda]]'s? Darth Yarco (talk) 15:07, March 3, 2016 (UTC)
Yoda's Gender
Yoda's gender is listed as "Yoda". This doesn't seem right. Brules (talk) 07:35, March 8, 2016 (UTC)
Well try editing it to say Male LOL--73.169.180.53 23:32, January 3, 2017 (UTC)
Yoda Species
As far as I know, the first drawing of an individual of the Yoda species appeared on Earth in the year 1876.
Yoda's Voice
Yoda sound like Grover from The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland and Miss Piggy from Muppets from Space. --Timmypizza (talk) 02:48, December 17, 2017 (UTC)

Anakin in apprentice section
The book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, Updated and Expanded confirmed that Yoda taught Anakin how to become a force ghost. Is that enough to add him in the apprentice section? Harshg (talk) 18:54, February 23, 2018 (UTC)
Infobox picture: ghost Yoda?
Given our "last appearance" informal policy, shouldn't we use a picture of ghost Yoda in the infobox? --Lelal Mekha

- How about this one, for example? --Lelal Mekha

- I don't think that applies to Force Ghosts; for example, we use the pic of Ben Kenobi on Tatooine for the Obi-Wan page.--D9328 (talk) 14:56, April 29, 2018 (UTC)d9328
- Actually, I once posted the very same question in Obi-Wan's talk page, but there was no reply. --Lelal Mekha

- The informal "last appearance" policy is about the character's last appearance while alive (such as the current images for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda), or whatever best represents that character (such as Anakin Skywalker). - Brandon Rhea(talk) 22:50, April 29, 2018 (UTC)

Typo
There's a typo in the quote at the top of the page: "It's energy surrounds us..." should be "Its energy surrounds us...". The apostrophe makes it a contraction of "it is," which clearly doesn't make sense; the phrase should use the possessive "its".
I don't have an account here or I'd just fix it myself.—Unsigned comment by 120.147.136.40 (talk • contribs)
3.1 Corrected spelling/grammar
There are numerous typos on this page that I would like to correct, but for some reason this is a protected page. How can I get in here? Chrisstansfield (talk) 03:17, December 11, 2019 (UTC)
- I guess you either need to reach a certain number of mainspace edits (Not sure on how many exactly, maybe 50?), or an admin would need to lower the protection --Lewisr (talk) 03:22, December 11, 2019 (UTC)
but wait if yoda is 800 years old wouldn't that mean he was born in the old republic era
Rey didn't need Luke's help?
The section covering Yoda's final lesson to Luke in The Last Jedi contains the following passage "Ultimately, Yoda helped Skywalker come to terms with his failed training of Ben Solo, and to realize that Rey already was a powerful Force user in her own right that didn't need his help". This line implies that Rey didn't need Luke's training or guidance, which I'm not sure is what exactly what Yoda was trying to say in that moment. It's also not something backed up this movie or the following one, as we see Rey struggle with the dark side in her training without a formal master.
Perhaps this could be edited to say that Yoda showed Luke he can still be what she needs by saving her to ensure she carries on the Jedi? Or a that with the Jedi texts Rey would be able to find her own way even without Luke's continued training? —Unsigned comment by TheOneTrueJack (talk • contribs)
