Tall
Was he tall though or did he simply not duck sufficiently?Captain Yossarian 19:54, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
- None of the other stormtroopers hit the roof and they didn't duck either.—Darthtyler

- The fact is though that he doesn't visibly appear to be significantly taller than the others that he's with, especially the trooper he's standing next to, who, incidentally, actually does duck slightly. He also only hits the top of his helmet on the door whereas the others pass just beneath it. So even if the one on the right of screen was taller it could surely only be a matter of an inch or so, considering he's wearing a helmet that contributes to his height. So I don't really think it's appropriate to label him as 'tall' and certainly not 'unusually tall'. If anything he should be described as something like "A stormtrooper who may have been slightly above average height". For me the clincher is the fact that the 'unusually tall' stormtrooper is supposed to be the same one who tells Threepio he can take R2 to maintenance. As he leaves Threepio walks right past this trooper and is almost exactly the same height. I've never heard Threepio be described as 'unusually tall', or indeed be of any height remarkable by comparison to others. So if Threepio's not tall, then really neither is the stormtrooper. - Surely he'd be better defined as "Clumsy Stormtrooper"? —Silly Dan (talk) 22:36, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- Or you could just say that the movie had much less of a budget than most movies of the time. Darth Plagueis 01:46, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Why is he not dead?
Ok, so earlier today I made an edit saying he presumably died when the Death Star was destroyed, how come that edit was reverted? He was likely still on at the time. Pretty much every named character who has made even the slightest appearance on the Death Star in the film has been confirmed as dead or presumed to be dead. And I also say the head-bumping stormtrooper likely perished, which means that he didn't necessarily die, but he likely died. So how come that edit about his likely death has been reverted? —Unsigned comment by 71.232.225.38 (talk • contribs)
- Because it's speculative. If it hasn't been confirmed, it's not canon. Adding "likely" is just labeling it as speculation; it doesn't make it any less speculative, though. - Lord Hydronium 01:44, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- And yet everyone living on Taris in the mid-3950s (BBY) has a label of "presumed".......DAWUSS 01:51, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- I reverted the edit because we don't add presumption and speculation to articles. All new information must be sourced and verified to be included into articles. Of course he probably died, but we don't know that for sure, so we don't assume. Write what you know, not what you think. And, to answer DAWUSS, just because someone added something to an article, doesn't mean it's correct. Toprawa and Ralltiir 01:53, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- And yet Tajis Durmin, Lieutenant Tanbris, TK-875 and Evax are officially listed as killed in the Battle of Yavin on Death Star I despite no source, and KE-829, his unidentified partner, Pol Treidum and Nova Stihl's entire squad of named Stormtroopers are presumed killed onboard the Death Star, also without a source. - Just because something is a certain way doesn't mean it's right. Wookieepedia doesn't necessarily stand behind the content of its articles 100%. Sadly, there are problematic things like this throughout that just haven't been corrected yet. When you find something like this in the articles you've cited, don't assume that this is the Wook's precedent by any means. Feel free to go ahead and make the corrections, per Acky. - But it would make sense that all those Imperials were indeed killed during the explosion. 24.91.192.55 02:19, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- Any more speculative edits made to this article will be met with a block from editing. That goes for everyone. Graestan(Talk) 02:20, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, it does seem logical, but then again this isn't proven so therefore it should not be stated. I believe, as was apparently pointed out previously, that he probably did die, but as there isn't any official proof, then probably it shouldn't even be mentioned on this stormie's page. But nonetheless I do have reason to believe all those pages I cited of Death Star I Imperials to have accurate information, so as of now I have decided to leave them as they are, but at the same time I will no longer add my speculation to this article.24.91.192.55 03:26, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

- It's possible he was a pilot too. Then if he was lucky not get blown up by the explosion. So ya slim chance but possible.Sith-venator 23:16, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- Turns out that he wasn't killed during the Yavin battle, he was killed before that by Luke after Obi-Wan was slain. Lightning Bear is credited for playing this stormy and the one who was killed by Luke in that scene, thus it can be this probably is the same character since he's played by the same actor —Unsigned comment by 64.119.131.68 (talk • contribs)
Is he in the 501st Legion?
Since this stormtrooper is a clone of Jango Fett, does that make him part of Vader's Fist? I know that all of the 501st Legion are clones of Jango Fett, but are all clones of Jango Fett in the 501st Legion, or are there Jango clones in other divisions of the Imperial Army?
- There are Jango clones in other divisions of the Imperial Army; also, per Battlefront II, the 501st weren't on the Death Star when it was destroyed, so it is unlikely that he is a member. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 23:18, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
Age
Simply because he is a clone of Jango Fett does not seem to imply that he is from the initial batch of clones created circa 32 BBY. While having Kamino as a birthplace is perfectly understandable, the idea of a physically 64 year old stormtrooper on active assignment is something I'd be hesitant to accept. Would it not be more likely that he's a later batch of the Fett genome? Even if just initiated at the tail end of the Clone Wars, say 19 BBY, a 38 year old trooper physically seems more plausible. - I agree that just because we are to infer from the DVD commentary that he is a clone, this doesn't necessarily imply any DOB. I've therefore removed this information. Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:26, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
