First name
What's the source for Ceel's first name? QuentinGeorge 08:52, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Star Wars Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook and an issue of Star Wars Monthly Poster Magazine, apparently --Imperialles 12:44, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Ceel in Ep.1?
So this guy is somewhere in TPM and looks almost identical to Tarpals? I heard about a Gungan character named Ceel, in the spoiler-race before the premiere, but i thought that character was cut out? VT-16 16:17, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- I seem to recall Ceel being in the novelization. In the movie, his lines and parts were mostly given to Tarpals. RogueJedi86 20:55, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- This entry is extremely crappy and full of lies. --Sompeetalay 22:51, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Regardless, Ceel is quite definitely mentioned in the Episode I novelisation.

| Boss Nass might think it clever to make him a general in the Gungan army, but the career officers found it less amusing. Genera Ceel, who was commander-in-chief, grunted sourly at Jar Jar, on being informed of his new position, and told him to set a good example for his people and die well. | |

- Yeah, I always thought he was the character that's actually Tarpals, due to the image in the TPM scrapbook. .... 10:56, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- I now realize the Gungan seen giving the order to retreat has to be General Ceel. Tarpals, being only a Captain, can't give those orders since Jar Jar outranks him. Ceel, in turn, outranks Jar Jar. VT-16 13:58, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- The quote from the book is of course genuine but that still doesn't mean that Ceel appears in the movie. It could be another unnamed General. There is no proof that this particular Gungan is Ceel. --Sompeetalay 11:02, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

- Then what is the image in the TPM Scrapbook? Does it identify the character as General Ceel? VT-16 07:26, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Force Collection
The Force Collection provides Ceel as a greener Gungan who shares Tarpal's physical model. Though, oddly, I don't think there is a Tarpals cards. I can supply this image I think. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 18:27, February 11, 2014 (UTC)
- I don't suppose you mean this one, do you? Because it's fanmade, sadly—I had uploaded it some time ago before I realized my mistake. --LelalMekha (talk) 18:30, February 11, 2014 (UTC)
- No, I mean from the Force Collection game. Interestingly, his three star card shows him as green, yet his headshot from the one star card looks like it's just Tarpals... Huh. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 18:32, February 11, 2014 (UTC)
- Can't we have the green one for the infobox instead, then? I'll assume the Tarpals shot is an artistic oversight. --LelalMekha (talk) 18:34, February 11, 2014 (UTC)
- It's probably be a better idea, though again I actually sold the three star card a while ago for in-game currency. I don't remember if he was green or the Kaadu he was riding was green :P --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 18:35, February 11, 2014 (UTC)
- Curses! Foiled again! :-( --LelalMekha (talk) 18:38, February 11, 2014 (UTC)
- Actually, I was looking through the game and I realized that I still have it. He doesn't appear green anymore, though. It'd be a decent image though if someone was to expand this article.--Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 16:50, August 14, 2014 (UTC)
