Death

Tikkes did not go to Mustafar, so he wasn't killed there. --Rune Haako 21:43, 5 Jan 2006 (UTC)

  • He probably was, since the rest of the Separatist leaders were. Admiral J. Nebulax 22:19, 5 Jan 2006 (UTC)
    • Then where was he at, the can? --Rune Haako 22:22, 5 Jan 2006 (UTC)
      • That's not funny. But we can all assume he was there. Admiral J. Nebulax 22:25, 5 Jan 2006 (UTC)
        • Not neccessarily. No source states he's on Mustafar, and I believe one of the Set Diaries stated Tikkes isn't in RotS at all. There could be any number of reasons why he wasn't present at Mustafar; he may even have been killed or imprisoned before that - Kwenn 15:54, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
        • Here we are: This Set Diary confirms Tikkes isn't present at the meeting, and though some call sheets listed him for RotS, he was actually confused with Tundra Dowmeia, since the same mask was used for both characters - Kwenn 15:58, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
          • But what about the comic adaptation of ROTS? IS he killed in it?JustinGann 20:54, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
            • I don't think he's in the comic at all, not even on Utapau like in the movie.Rune Haako 21:05, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
              • Well, think about it. The dude was a Quarren, for crying out loud. Tessek could barely go anywhere on Tatooine without having his skin peel off and suffering sunstroke. How long do you think a squid-head would live on Mustafar? 216.55.213.30 06:23, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
                • But he would still go, because he would be a member of the Separatist Council and would have to follow a direct order from Grievous. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 11:38, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
                  • You can see his body when it shows all of the dead seperatists, near Passel's body. You also see him fall down dead after Anakin kills Denaria and Anakin deflects the bullets, he is next to the nemoidian.

actually on his wiki biography it says he died in 19 bby on mustafar.

Tessek or Tikkes?

In Cloak of Deception, Tessek is mentioned on page 128, but do they actually mean Tikkes because they refer to him as a delegate.--Rune Haako 00:25, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

  • It has to be Tikkes. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 01:36, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
  • Probably a spelling error. -- SFH 01:40, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
    • A big spelling error. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 01:42, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
      • Everyone makes mistakes. With a galaxy full of characters, and all Quarren looking the same, I see how it could happen.-- Doo Doo 01:56, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
        • Trivia: Tikkes was named Tessek in the rough drafts of AOTC - I suspect Luceno had access to an early script, before the name was changed. QuentinGeorge 05:54, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

Tikkes killed in Star Wars Clone Wars?

Leeland Chee said it's possible he was killed in the Star Wars Clone Wars cartoon http://forums.starwars.com/thread.jspa?threadID=152583&start=0930 --Rune Haako 18:55, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Wait, would that mean he was in charge of the crab cannon? Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 20:28, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
    • Guess so, I also wonder if he's the Quarren who shakes Dooku's hand in Chapter I?--Rune Haako 18:06, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
  • That means that the info we have here is wrong, then. Kuralyov 18:16, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
  • If it's Tikkes in Clone Wars, I wonder who the Quarren in ROTS is then?--Rune Haako 18:43, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Leland: No.
That sounds pretty unanmbiguous to me. Kuralyov 01:26, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Possible appearance for Tikkes in ROTS?

Why? It's got to be him.--Rune Haako 16:57, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

  • I don't see who else it could be, but someone seems to think we need to wait for confirmation.Eggmanland 17:42, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
    • We do. We don't control canon. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 21:41, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
      • Yeah but he was on the Invisible Hand in LOE, and the Council was going to Utapau from it.--Rune Haako 23:23, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
        • Still doesn't mean he's in RotS. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 23:59, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
          • Ok, but I still don't see who else it could be.--Rune Haako 15:57, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
            • It could be any Quarren. Don't forget that there was the Quarren Isolation League. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 20:10, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
              • I guess I'll have to ask Leland. :P--Rune Haako 16:51, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
                • Yeah, that should solve it. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 23:34, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
                  • And we have his answer[3]. Apparently, he's still not aware that there IS a Quarren on Utapau, but he says that he's unnamed. It sounds like he still thinks Tikkes died during the Clone Wars (and apparently if he thinks so, it's true, refardless of Tikkes's appearance in LOE). Honestly, I'm beginning to wonder about Leland. Maybe the stress of the job is getting to him. Eggmanland 18:50, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
                    • If Leland says Tikkes died in Clone Wars, that's not canon because of his LoE appearance. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 21:19, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
                      • LOL Tikkes was in LOE though, there's no denying that.--Rune Haako 21:20, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
                        • And it stands to reason that, being among the group Grievous is ordered to protect and subsequently send to Utapau, that Tikkes is the guy we see in ROTS. More than anything, though, I'm surprised Leland apparently hasn't noticed that there even is a Quarren on Utapau. Do you think showing him a screencap would help? Eggmanland 21:32, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
                          • Most likely. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 21:35, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
                            • He's now said this, "Okay, Tikkes it is then. I'll add this to my mistaken identities blog. Confusion often arises because Tikkes and Tundra Dowmeia often dress the same." [4] So it's him.--Rune Haako 00:41, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
                              • Great. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 01:15, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
                              • Glad that's over with. Now if someone, anyone, could just tell us who the hell that is sitting to the right of Tikkes... Eggmanland 05:21, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
                                • I think we've already tried that. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 14:33, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
                                  • Yep, Leland said that character is unnamed.--Rune Haako 16:25, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
                                    • That's something I don't get. If the character is unnamed, why can't he come up with a name for the character? —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 20:18, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
                                      • Maybe they're planning on having him/her be a What's The Story submission ?--Rune Haako 20:22, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
                                      • I don't think it's his job to just arbitrarily come up with character names on the spot; what if the guy had already been named somewhere, or if he's set to be named in an upcoming publication. A new name can be included in new material, yes, but Chee really only confirms facts and connects conjecture - \\Captain Kwenn// Ahoy! 20:36, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
                                        • "what if the guy had already been named somewhere, or if he's set to be named in an upcoming publication". And if neither of those options apply, he could apply a name. I'm not asking Chee to just name every single unnamed character, I'm just asking him to name one or two every so often. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 20:41, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

His corpse on Mustafar?

Where is it, anyone got a pic?--Rune Haako 16:58, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Sorry for not saying this for long, dudes. Take a look in the Sep room and you'll see Tikkes with his red robes close to the holographic battlefield. - Will Karner 1:02 P.M., 23 November 2007
    • Guys I just checked the entire mustifar scene and can tell you that he is definately not there. The body that is rumured to have been seen is that of Po Nudo's aqualish aide(one of the 2 who shrivel before dying at the hands of Darth Vader)216.178.90.197 04:19, 18 August 2009 (UTC) User: Cad Bane Owns

costume confusion

I believe many Senators and aides in TPM wear different costumes in their photo shoots (the pics we usually see on Wikia) than in the actual movie. Look on p 127 of the old Alien Anthology: 1) Tikkes is wearing a red and silver outfit, not the "Tessek-clone" outfit as we see in most reference sources. 2) we see two blue-outfitted Rodian aides, not the ones we see in most publicity shots, no sign of the red-haired femaleJustinGann 13:56, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Corpse found at last!

I found Tikkes dead on the floor next to the holographic battlefield in his red robes. This after the panel of Tambor and Haako's corpses were shown. Take a look and you'll see. Make this as a pic for me because I don't know to do that. Please? 68.228.149.192 21:17, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

  • That's Po Nudo's aide.--Rune Haako 17:18, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia claims he died on Mustafar.

This is complete crap, he wasn't even there.--Rune Haako 17:09, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

  • I agree.--User:Yodakenobi 17:27, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
    • I also agree; I only put it in the article because of this. However, Leland Chee has said that he didn't die on Mustafar. Does this change things and "make" him there (albeit not seen on screen) or should we go by Chee? There are a few other mistakes in the Encyclopedia... Lucius malfoy7 02:58, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
      • He died at Mustafar, the Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia should be higher level canon than Leland Chee. Hanzo Hasashi 00:47, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
        • Assuming it's not an error in the CSWE. I don't think it would be the first time.— Red XIV (talk) 23:51, December 22, 2009 (UTC)

Where's your proof?

I'll need some photographic evidence before I accept the fact that he died on Mustafar.--71.163.30.19 20:02, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

  • You won't get photographic evidence. But all the proof you need is in Tikkes's entry in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia. Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 20:08, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Tikkes in Season Four of "The Clone Wars"

Could Tikkes be in Season Four of the show "The Clone Wars"!? The clothes match his movie appearance shown on the official fact file 134! Where they show that the guy is Tikkes with his name written on top of the cover!

[5]

And the clothes second proof from the latest SW insider!

[6]

I think the character in the pictures matches Tikkes himself! Does anybody agree, given what the Official Fact File points is Tikkes's official robe with which he appeared in the "Attack of the Clones" war room scenes!

I hope this is enough proof to show he is in Season Four of the show... --Dangrievous 14:51, September 3, 2011 (UTC)

  • Video comparison! [7]
  • That Quarren in TCW could very well just have clothes based on those of Tikkes. That's not to say that it really isn't Tikkes, but at this point we still don't have direct confirmation that it's him. Please exercise some patience until we do—jumping the gun with assumption is never good. CC7567 (talk) 19:58, September 3, 2011 (UTC)
    • Thank you for answering! Yes, I agree 100%! I wait until a guide or something...A guy still can hope, right? ;) Btw, IF he appears where could I reserve to edit his profile!?--Dangrievous 21:30, September 3, 2011 (UTC)
      • There isn't anywhere to "reserve" pages on the site—Wookieepedia is a wiki open to anyone for editing. CC7567 (talk) 21:33, September 3, 2011 (UTC)

Tikkes TCW concept art on starwars.com

Hello!

I found concept art of Tikkes made for the show "The Clone Wars"! Maybe they could be used in the article but stupid policy has forbidden me to upload new pictures...

BTW, I love the description in the picture: - Representative Tikkes -- the Quarren Senator in Episode I, and a Separatist Senator in Episodes II and III, almost made an appearance in this episode. He was designed in concept art, but ultimately not included, since his placement in the Quarren power structure and his whereabouts in the war at this time would raise too many questions than could be comfortably answered in this already packed episode.

Wow! The show can be so weird. The screwing with Greedo's life on the show was not a problem, but featuring Tikkes on the show was?! It makes not sense on their! --Dangrievous 12:51, December 12, 2011 (UTC)

AotC Actor?

Was it ever discovered who actually portrayed the character in the film? --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 03:05, September 10, 2013 (UTC)
