A Proposal
I propose that we break this down into all the available issues, currently issues 1-83, and then anything that links to an Insider will link to that appropriate issue, which will then link here. Each issue will have a review of its contents for better citing of sources. -- Riffsyphon1024 04:45, 23 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Can we get the web address for this place? --User:SFH
How to Link to Issues
Do not place the # in the title of any issue nor in the link to it, because that will simply go to the main Star Wars Insider article and look for a section entitled whatever number the issue is. Articles are without #'s, ex. Star Wars Insider 80. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:12, 21 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Publisher
I believe WOTC - and maybe another company - published the Insider after the Fan Club and before Paizo. Not sure of dates/issues, though. —Unsigned comment by Dark Spork (talk • contribs)
Lucasfilm Fan Club Magazine
Shouldn't we move the first 22 issues to "Lucasfilm Fan Club Magazine ##" (and leave the Star Wars Insider ## redirects, obviously)? -- Ozzel 05:13, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- I thought of that before, but never really gave it much consideration. My answer: I guess so. --Xwing328(Talk) 05:18, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Well, if nobody objects, I guess I'll go ahead with it. -- Ozzel 04:14, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for fixing the titles in the articles. I forgot to do that! -- Ozzel 22:26, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
Pricing/Subscription
Would it be relevant to track how the price for a subscription/single issue has changed over time? I, for one, have been trying to find a straight answer on what the difference in price is between last year's combined Insider/Hyperspace subscription and this year's individual ones. So, the question is A. Is it relevant, and B. Does anyone have that info at hand? Chrisstansfield 04:02, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think it would hurt, but I don't have it on hand. —Xwing328(Talk) 04:39, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
- As a yearly subscriber, I know the price, although it is subject to change within Issue 93. Originally it was $39.95 for both a years' worth of issues and Hyperspace membership. I know that now it's becoming a seperate payment. TheNewDarthMalevlent(The Sith shall rise to power!) 14:06, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- Subscription costs could be used too, if we know them. Really though, I think having the newsstand price for each individual issue would be great. That can usually just be found on the cover of each magazine. —Xwing328(Talk) 15:22, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- I can tell you right now that as of Issue 91, the price was $5.95 US/$7.95 Canada. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:19, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
