Announcement?

Hi.

Is this game the same as the X-Wing VR Missions that was just announced yesterday?

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/06/13/introducing-star-wars-battlefront-x-wing-vr-mission/

Weedle McHairybug (talk) 23:38, June 14, 2016 (UTC)

  • I doubt it. The announcement for Battlefront seems to be for a whole new game, and the VR mission just seems to be an add-on (and limited to one system). Corellian PremierJedi symbolThe Force will be with you always 01:59, June 15, 2016 (UTC)
    • Hmm, okay. So, should I create a new article on the VR Mission? Or should I add it to Star Wars: Battlefront? Weedle McHairybug (talk) 02:09, June 15, 2016 (UTC)

Move the page

This game is already listed for pre-order on Amazon as Star Wars Battlefront II (which I redirected here). [1] Should we move the article? DarkKnight2149 23:26, August 5, 2016 (UTC)

Alright. DarkKnight2149 16:52, August 7, 2016 (UTC)

Real pity.

That this game, will never see the darkness of the day! *Ahem* I mean the light of the day, just using a sith way of speaking.(Lee NiX (talk) 09:17, August 31, 2016 (UTC))

CLONE WARS

Clone Wars For Battlefront II

Multiple eras means we could be getting clone wars. We know we will 90% get sequel trilogy content but that is only one era. Obviously they could go with original trilogy which would make it 2 eras but I think we will get one more. Clone wars or old republic. Doubt it will be OR because we have seen so many games on the era.

E-11D?

The E-11D is listed here, having the E3 trailer as a source, but I don't see to see it. --Tuskin38 (talk) 02:08, July 3, 2017 (UTC)

Kram Namwen and Sul?

Where do the names Kram Namwen and Sul come from? I don't remember seeing anything in the credits --Lewisr (talk) 20:45, November 18, 2017 (UTC)

  • I haven't been able to find them.--Vitus Infinitus (talk) 23:19, November 20, 2017 (UTC)
    • I've only seen those names on IMDB which isn't reliable, anyone else been able to find them? --Lewisr (talk) 23:23, November 20, 2017 (UTC)

Multiplayer announcers

I spoke to Matt Martin on twitter to get any info on the multiplayer announcers and he said that he'll get the scripts soon and let me know what their names are, so let's hold off a bit on creating the remaining multiplayer announcers because we'd have like four Unidentified characters and then we'd have to move the pages so lets just wait until tomorrow.--Vitus Infinitus (talk) 00:38, November 20, 2017 (UTC)

  • Good idea, thanks for reaching out to Matt! --Lewisr (talk) 00:40, November 20, 2017 (UTC)

Appearances in articles

Which style for appearances are we supposed to be using? Is it Star Wars Battlefront: Resurrection (First appearance) or are we supposed to do Star Wars Battlefront II (First appearance) (DLC)? I've seen articles that first appeared in Season one use both styles.--Vitus Infinitus (talk) 17:59, December 14, 2017 (UTC)

"Coning Soon" Category, Please?

Can we list characters that have confirmed for inclusion in future DLCs, because it was leaked that General Grievous will definitely be a future DLC and I want to mention him in the character category. 4:43 PM; May 9,2018 User:Ghost of LucasArts

  • We don't deal in leaks. Unless its been confirmed in an official source we aren't adding it --Lewisr (talk) 20:45, May 9, 2018 (UTC)

For Twitter Members Only

To any Wookieepedians with Twitter accounts, I need your help. I do not follow Twitter, and not to be demanding or anything, but if you could get in touch with Ben Walke, I would appreciate it if you could ask him to consider these ideas I have for future Battlefront II DLCs:

1. Skins

- Chewbacca carrying C-3PO.

- Luke Skywalker (X-wing Pilot and Jedi Master).

- Sentinel-class landing craft.

- HMP Droid gunships.

Thanks a bunch! 9:47 AM; March 24, 2019; User:Ghost of LucasArts

Is this really the place to ask this kind of thing? It's a talk page not a request forum. Also the HMP gunships are going to be in the new game mode coming on the 26th.--Tuskin38 (talk) 14:07, March 24, 2019 (UTC)
It absolutely isn't the right place (nor is Wookieepedia at large). The talk page is for discussing changes to the article itself, as per the {{talkheader}} at the top of this page. 1358 (Talk) 14:10, March 24, 2019 (UTC)
Sorry, I didn't know. 12:33 PM; March 24, 2019; User:Ghost of LucasArts

"Seasons"

The Battlefront Devs have publicly stated that the Solo Season was the last actual season. The section referring to downloadable content should be tweaked, as anything after the Solo update is no longer a season, but just a major update. DFaceG (talk) 23:56, December 9, 2019 (UTC)

Timeline Dates

Is there any particular reason why this game does not have timeline years? The Timeline of canon video games lists the years for Battlefront II as 32 BBY35 ABY, and other games, such as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order have a specific year listed on their article, so why isn't there one here? Is it just missing, or is there an important reasone why the timeline years aren't listed? I'm trying to research and figure out a complete list of Canon video games and when they're set on the Star Wars timeline, so if there is no reason why the timeline years are missing, is it alright if I go ahead and add them? Ramsay Sanders (talk) 13:15, September 15, 2020 (UTC)

  • Probably just hadn't been added yet, don't see any reason why one couldn't be added --Lewisr (talk) 13:17, September 15, 2020 (UTC)

Personal Shield

Hey, I notice that Personal Combat Shield isn't listed under Weapons and Technology but the Heavy Class for both the Light Side and Dark Side factions has a Combat Shield that deploys and looks like the Personal Combat Shield we see from the Death Watch even though it seems to be linked to the weapon instead of the arm or possibly a device strapped to the front of the Heavy class as the front of the Heavy's gun will stick out from the shield face. Also the Personal Combat Shield page doesn't list Battlefront II under Appearances, it is a little bigger than the ones the Death Watch uses but it's not a full coverage dome style shield like Iden's Droid Shield ability or the Squad Shield that is deployed by Leia or the Officer class and only blocks blaster bolts in front of the user and is useless against a Lightsaber or any physical weapon like slug throwers such as the vanguard shotgun ability or flamethrower that the Flametrooper and Boba Fett have.Kyuu19 (talk) 05:53, 2 February 2021 (UTC)

FN-0208

I am not skilled with creating pages so that is why I'm requesting its creation here, FN-0208 was "worker of the month" and can be seen on a holopad in the first order star destroyer map cafeteria. I hope someone sees this and creates it, thank you. Unsigned comment by Mor9347 (talk • contribs)

Characters for online?

I noticed that there was no place for characters or even an online mode, i would say that the online battling is where a lot of people like so i would say that you should add something for game modes but more importantly characters. Unsigned comment by Pea pod enjoyer (talk • contribs)

(Edit sorry I didn’t see the gamemodes one but i still say that’s you should add something for the characters) Unsigned comment by Pea pod enjoyer (talk • contribs)

Battle of Naboo (Clone Wars)

The Naboo map used for attack and defend missions during Republic times has dead battle droids scattered around. Would this imply there was a battle in Naboo during the clone wars? WynnOliver (talk) 23:48, 28 March 2024 (UTC)

  • The dev team made a lot work to make connections between the maps. Galactic Assault Naboo showcases the initial battle, however, the Supremacy and CO-OP versions do feature a more devastated Naboo, which is a clear continuation of the battle from Galactic Assault. Although, we shouldn't be quick to make conclusions. Maps such as Crait recreate events from the movies, and then there are maps such as Death Star II which completely goes against established lore. (as far as I know, I don't think there was an infiltration team boarding the Death Star II in the Battle of Endor.) So the fact that maps like Death Star II showcase non-canon events means that we can't confirm if a battle did occur on Naboo during the Clone Wars, unless it is stated otherwise that a battle did happen, and it is also the same battle we see in Battlefront 2. And even if so, we have no idea what the canonical ending of the battle would be. Even if the Separatists won the Galatic Assault part of the battle, it is completely up in the air as to who wins the Supremacy/CO-OP side of the battle, and which version of that part of the battle is Canon, CO-OP or Supremacy? DLC

What is "DLC" or "Resurrection DLC"? Been L'toth (talk) 15:28, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

  • DLC stands for downloadable content, and the Resurrection DLC refers of a group of missions that were added post launch Lewisr (talk) 20:54, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
