Canon or Legends?
Imperial Assault was released after the new timeline was announced, but the page lists the product as Legends. For the most part, everything released after that announcement has been canon, with a select few things being designated as Legends by the Story Group. Has anyone from LFL expressly stated that this is Legends? --Dentface (talk) 23:23, March 7, 2015 (UTC)
Every single campaign game played in this will likely be a novel order and result for the overall story it tells. How would you decide which story result is the official one? You would have to consider the order of side missions and whether Rebels or Imperials win each mission. I am not an expert on the matter, but it seems to me it's better for it to just exist outside of canon. --Soupoftomato (talk) 14:46, April 20, 2015 (UTC)
- I think it shouldn't be listed as Legends as well, considering the new canon packs such as The Grand Inquisitor.

- At the very least, The Grand Inquisitor's of the Canon Timeline. We really don't know about the others, however. That being said, how about we just list it as a real life article with it neither being considered Legends nor Canon since Fantasy Flight Games is pretty tricky regarding that overall. - I agree.

- Couldn't it exist like Star Wars Battlefront canon, in which the events aren't canon but the locations and characters are? Brules

- I think it is very possible, I thought it had some Legends material because of the way the article was listed.

- There's ISB Infiltrators, General Sorin, Kayn Romos, Agent Blaise, General Weiss, and Royal Guard Champion (in fact, Carnor Jax was even mentioned in the last one), among others, and we definitely know those guys weren't in the canon timeline. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 11:27, May 12, 2016 (UTC)
- As far as I can tell all of those characters bar Carnor Jax are entirely new to any timeline, not sure why we should assume that they're legends. Also where on the Royal guard champion card is Jax mentioned? From what I can see online his name was used on early prototypes of the product but removed before final release, which in my opinion strongly suggests they're trying to avoid legends.
