Image?

Can someone tell me where this image is from? It seems to be fan made. To my knowledge, there is no official image of Sluis Van. In fact, the only image of its ship yards comes from the Heir to the Empire sourcebook and a few images from the comic adapatation. Shall we delete it? AdmiralNick22 14:29, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

  • Well, it has been almost a year since I brought this up? I am not aware of the source for that picture. Should we delete it? AdmiralNick22 18:20, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
    • I know this is a little late, but if you click on the image it says its from the Official Star Wars Fact File 56. It also said that they added a black backround, which is maybe why it looks fan made? I wonder if there are any better pics of it anywhere... agh why did I have to lose Star Wars Rebellion? Origin of the name "Sluis Van"?

Does any one know where the name "Sluis Van" comes from? Since several other names ("Kwaad" as in "Mezhan Kwaad" and "Vader" as in "Darth Vader") most likely originate from Dutch words, I suspect that "Sluis Van" is also borrowed from Dutch. "Sluis" is Dutch for "sluice" and "van" means "of" or "from". Peter Swinkels

Edit request

This actually refers to the canon side of the page but I didn't want my first post with this account to be reopening a page that was deleted two days ago. The link to the legends page is broken (doesn't have "/legends") and I don't know how to fix it. Kanjo Maru (talk) 01:42, May 22, 2017 (UTC)

Image of the Sith Empire's attack on Sluis Van.

Can we have a comment in the BTS section mentioning that the image of Sluis Van seen in the Galactic Timeline videos, is actually of Kuat?
