Rare

I know that Rutian Twi'leks are said to be rare, but is that really the case? It seems that the majority of twi'leks seen are in fact Rutian. It seems that all the other hues are rarer than Rutian skin tones. Greekpimp - Talk 03:44, October 16, 2009 (UTC) I agree. almost all of them are Rutian. i have seen two red ones, two white ones, two pink ones, one purple one, one yellow one... and about fifty blue ones.208.102.123.1 23:33, April 18, 2010 (UTC)

    • I think there is some kind of misunderstanding on the meaning of "Rutian" ; all the Twi'leks listed here are blue, but I think Rutian refers to one particular shade of blue, the one shown on Ann and Tan Gella. LelalMekha 10:20, September 2, 2010 (UTC)

There's a contradiction between this page, and the Twi'lek page.

On this page, it says that Rutian is a rare skin type. There is no reference, though.

On the actual Twi'lek page, it says "In contrast, the Rutian Twi'leks, which exhibited a blue phenotype, were more common among the population". There is a reference.

Might I suggest an edit to this page, amending the statement that Rutian is rare, and explaining that it is much more common?

On a more sensible note, it seems that in the Star Wars films and games, bluish hues seem extremely common for Twi'leks. Unsigned comment by 108.214.129.171 (talk • contribs)

The Rutian subspecies is mentioned in this canon article: http://www.starwars.com/news/meet-the-geonosis-jedi - Therefor shouldn't this page get a canon version? DallasRaines (talk) 03:17, August 17, 2016 (UTC)
