Duursema confirmed that he was the other Moff in issue 1 (besides Veed, Geist, Calixte, and the Chiss). Kuralyov 05:55, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
- At least I know that I'm not the only one who thought there was a Chiss in there... Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Rename
In the Tatooine arc, Nyna refers to him as "Ranulf" - probably making "Rulf" a nickname.--Gonzalo84 22:53, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- Everything else calls him Rulf Yage. I'm treating "Ranulf" as an error. Grand Moff Tranner

- Guess we'll have to ask the writers.--Gonzalo84 04:10, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
- In Legacy - War 1 he's called Ranulf again.--Gonzalo84 07:27, December 18, 2010 (UTC)
- Let's wait and see after War is finished. Maybe there will be some clerification. Probably not, but maybe. --The Great and Grand Count Mall!Bow down before me! 04:55, December 28, 2010 (UTC)
- In Legacy - War 2 he's once again referred to as Ranulf. I guess Rulf is the short version. Like Mike for Michael.--Gonzalo84 06:08, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
- Or you can contact John or Jan for clarification. I emailed Jan about Cade's healing power being called "Dark Transfer" on this wiki, and she told me that his ability was never called that in the comics. It was helpful.WIERDGREENMAN 17:19, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
- In Legacy - War 4, he called himself Ranulf Yage when he talk with Sinde. It sure now Rulf is the short version of his true name. Maxattac 17:23, April 4, 2011 (UTC)
- I suggest you read the BTS before deciding to move the article again without consulting anyone else. Grand Moff Tranner

Grand Admiral
The Legacy Era Campaign Guide refers to Yage as a Grand Admiral. However, as far as I know, in the Legacy Empire the post of Grand Admiral is the same as the Supreme Commander, and it is held by Morlish Veed. This is confirmed by the fact that Krion Grail hopes to become Grand Admiral thanks to the fact that Veed is regent and no longer holds that post (indicating that the Grand Admiral post is indeed single, and not shared as it was under Palpatine). Should this be treated as a mistake of the Campaign Guide which wanted to indicate Yage as the foremost among the Navy officials? I hope not to create confusion with this suggestion. --LordUltor 10:56, August 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Grand Admiral seems to be some kind of honorific in Legacy - War 2, Veed refers to Yage as Admiral as well.--Gonzalo84 20:41, February 14, 2011 (UTC)
