This is a real unit in Battlefront and apparantly Battlefront II, but we don't know anything about their existence beyond gameplay mechanics. They might not actually exist as a definable group; We have an article on Scout troopers, but we don't need one on "Wookiee Smugglers," another game unit.-LtNOWIS 03:05, 6 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Right. Just because we deem one topic worthwhile for an article does not mean we require an article for all units in a game. A description of the units in the game's article should be sufficient unless they are unique enough to merit a full article. --SparqMan 03:43, 6 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Besides, "only female human type of troop?" That's just silly. (FWIW, I checked the Rebel Alliance Sourcebook for any SpecForce types who would count as some sort of sniper. No luck there.) — Silly Dan 03:10, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Move to Rebel marksman
I am fairly certain that the "marksman" in "Rebel Marksman" is a general noun and therefore should not be capitalized. This is in the same vein as stormtrooper, scout trooper, droid sniper, sniper in general, jet trooper, purge trooper, Rebel vanguard, etc. It may appear as "Rebel Marksman" in-game but that is because it is the normal convention of video games to capitalize these things in the in-game menus as though they were titles (note how blaster rifle will be written as Blaster Rifle as well). - I just across this article again and noticed the same error, without realizing I had already brought it up years ago. Since I never received any feedback on this move after so many years, I am just going to take initiative to perform it now. Sol PacificusFirestorm 17:52, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
