Image

Do we need the minature pic in here? It kinda messed up the layout. QuentinGeorge 05:44, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • Doesn't add to the article or provide a good look at him either. --SparqMan 13:51, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)

The image has been removed. In hindsight, I shoulda followed my gut tellin' me it didn't look good. -- Shadowtrooper 17:16, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I don't think Quin was at Geonosis. I'll double check, though. Gladius 01:21, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • Quin appears at Geonosis in a panel of the graphic novel adaptation of AotC - Kwenn
    • That is true, but from what the article says, he wasn't there, and 'was surprised to learn of the development on Geonosis'. Disrepancy? DarthMRN 21:26, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

DVD release

  • Is it confirmed that he will appear in the DVD of ROTS? Also if he is, who is portraying him? -- Riffsyphon1024 06:47, 1 Jul 2005 (UTC)
    • I have no idea where this came from, nor if it is true. I left it in anyway, merely adding the comic appearance as well. QuentinGeorge 06:51, 1 Jul 2005 (UTC)
      • Considering how random Lucas is, is it possible that his scene, if any, would still be added either to the movie itself or to the deleted scenes? -- Riffsyphon1024 06:56, 1 Jul 2005 (UTC)
        • Quite possibly, but the Vos scene never got past the animatic stage. QuentinGeorge 07:33, 1 Jul 2005 (UTC)
        • So then let's keep the text out of the article until the DVD is released. --SparqMan 13:34, 1 Jul 2005 (UTC)

I'm hoping his character makes an appearence in the DVD. It would be really awsome to see him. Do you think they would put like a actor or a coumpter generated actor? Dylankidwell 13:40, 7 Aug 2005 (UTC)

HE'S NO IN THE DVD! :( THAT MAKES ME SAD! MAYBE GEORGE WILL ADD HIM SOON...--Dil 22:30, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)

he WAS in Episode I. if you watch when Sulbulba and Anakin fight, you will see him behind them at a table. QuinlanfanQuinlanfan

Survival

It seems that Quinlan survived after all - [1]

Palpatine's Order 66 has changed everything. As Jedi are slaughtered across the galaxy, one has managed to cheat fate-but for how long? Badly wounded by the same troops he just led to victory, Master Quinlan Vos retreats into the jungle wilderness of the Wookiee homeworld Kashyyyk. As the clones close in, Vos must choose - stay and fight, or run and put those he loves in danger of the newborn Empire's wrath. QuentinGeorge 06:15, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)

  • Hmm, this is interesting. It looks like the infamous Quinlan Vos survived his "death" after all. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 11:48, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)
    • Well how else will Lucasarts get to make a subpar game about him? ;-) Nice find, QuentinGeorge. --SparqMan 12:03, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)
    • Hmm, I'd like to see how this plays into a possible spinoff in that television series. -- Riffsyphon1024 12:11, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)
  • My guess is that he'll be floored in Purge. --Imp 12:25, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)
  • I wonder if Quinlan really does survive the Jedi Purge. If he gets killed off in the comic (or even the TV series, if he is in it), then I guess his name won't have to be removed from the "Victims of the Purge" list. Although, I would like to see him survive the Purge and keep the promise that he made in the last page of the last part of "The Siege of Saleucami" in the Star Wars: Republic comic book series. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 12:33, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)
    • If I recall correctly, the "Victims of the Purge" article in question is supposed to be a list released by the Empire, regarding which high-profile Jedi fugitives were killed, and for which their status was either unknown, or known to be "at large". As far as the Empire knows, it was Quin's body that Villie was burning on Kashyyyk, and Clone Trooper Faie is MIA, possibly "presumed dead." k1darkknight 26 Jan 2007
  • Is this book canon?
Exactly how long has the Jedi Purge taken? Until Obi-Wan was killed? - TopAce - 3rd August 2005, 16:00 (GMT +1)
    • Well, I'm sure the book would be canon, and no, the Jedi Purge technically lasts up to 1 BBY, which is before the time of Obi-Wan's death. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 22:42, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)
    • Actually, this is considered "official" rather than "canon." Essentially, all that can be considered canon is the movies, and those works directly derived from the movies, i.e. novelizations, comic adaptations, radio dramas, and the like. For more on "canon" vs "official" see Nathan Butler's "Star Wars Timeline Gold"'s Appendices document (in the zip file w/the SWTG itself), Appendix A: "Levels of Officiality Discussion." k1darkknight 26 Jan 2007
  • Hey, what about Yoda?Padme829 03:34, 3 Nov 2005 (UTC)Padme829
    • What does this have to do with this article? Cmdr. J. Nebulax 20:40, 3 Nov 2005 (UTC)
      • As a note of interest, Jan Duursema has confirmed in this thread (in a Legacy discussion at TF.N, so spoiler alert) that Quin does not get shot point-blank in the stomach by Faie; she chose that angle specifically to make us believe that was the case. I altered the article to reflect that - Kwenn 16:30, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
        • Thank you. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20:03, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
  • in star wars Ghost he helps a teenage Han Solo. i'm guessing it took place around 15 BBY. please correct me if i'm wrong Quinlanfan 22:25, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
    • According to Nathan Butler's "Star Wars Timeline Gold", this story takes place at 6 BSW4 (see the SWTG itself for why he uses BSW4/ASW4 rather than BBY/ABY). His reasoning is as follows, excerpted directly from said document: "I place this story here because before now, Han would have either been with Shrike or in the Imperial Navy. After this point, he’d have had Chewbacca with him." k1darkknight

Appearances

The list of appearances seemed awfully long, so I cleaned it a bit. If there's a story arc in the Star Wars: Republic comics in which Quinlan appears prominently, I have linked straight to the arc page instead of having all the issues listed. --Tinwe 12:20, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • Why not just have it as Star Wars: Republic? I'll do that now. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 20:05, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)
    • That saves us a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot of space... --Master Starkeiller 20:19, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)
      • Exactly. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 20:32, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)
      • It seems a bit vague just having Republic there; the whole point of the Appearances section is to help people in figuring out where that character appears, and putting an 83-issue ongoing series there certainly doesn't do that. I say use the story arc names. MarcK 22:54, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)
  • My apologies, then. I'll fix it. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 23:29, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)
  • Where is it stated that Vos was in Mos Espa when Qui-Gon was? Sounds interesting to me, could it be just fandom? Quidon88 22:11 15, May 2006 (UTC)

he WAS in Episode I. if you watch when Sulbulba and Anakin fight, you will see him behind them at a table. Quinlanfan

    • The Phantom Menace, technically, but more accurately, I believe Rite of Passage. This was the extra his character was based on, and it was later retconned in (I think) Rite of Passage that that really was him. - Lord Hydronium 03:19, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
      • It's funny how an extra from Episode I turned into perhaps the most famous Jedi/Dark Jedi/Jedi again character. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 11:15, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
  • Old thread..in that Phantom Menace seen, Quinlan seems to appear, but if that was him at that twenty-something age, he would be a Jedi and not allowed Qui-Gon just pass him without like saying hi or something. So i guess, unfortunately, it was not him Izquierdista 17:56, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

Improvement Drive

Stuff to be added:

  • He was in Mos Espa during Episode 1 Quinlanfan 22:18, 28 October 2006 (UTC)Quinlanfan
  • How he trained as a child on his homeworld, until his aunt tried to get him to "read" the object related to his parent's death, and then Tholme took him to Coruscant.

Wow. Nice work there. I was reading this article a couple of days ago, then when I read it this morning, it has about 60% more stuff than before. Great work, all you editors. - RPharazon

If possible and known can someone add what form of lightsaber combat Quinlan utilizes?

  • I don't think that was ever said. Admiral J. Nebulax 20:44, 3 Jan 2006 (UTC)
  • IIRC, Mace Windu taught him "the basics of Vapaad".
    • And Sora Bulq taught him a bit of Vapaad. Admiral J. Nebulax 23:59, 6 Jan 2006 (UTC)
  • One move. Anyways, here: Form IV: Ataru

It says Vos was an Ataru pactiocener. Comments? --Darthsith19 04:37, 12 Jan 2006 (UTC)

  • mace windu didn't taught quin vaapad... he said it's to dangeorous for him... sora bulq was the one. I would say he uses ataru too. I have 2 argumetns for that:

1. Aayla is a matser of ataru, and since she was his padawan its logical that she was taught by him. 2. In every comic I saw him in he was jumping and leaping a lot. He also uses a lot of kicks.

  • Vos probably used Ataru. Admiral J. Nebulax 20:37, 12 Jan 2006 (UTC)
    • ... but a source would be needed. Admiral J. Nebulax 12:37, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
      • Well, Jan Duursema says here that Vos is a master of Ataru. You might also be interested in this post, made by Jan in response to a debate that was going on over at Talk:Form_V:_Shien_/_Djem_So#Aayla. Of couse, according to that debate over at Talk:Form V: Shien / Djem So, what Jan says can't be accepted as canon.. (Personally, I beleive that what Jan says can be seen as canon, but it seems that others don't). 151.203.152.40 03:31, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Images

  • Good god, does this article really need 6 images in 3 paragraphs? --MarcK [talk] 23:03, 14 Jan 2006 (UTC)
    • I know, I know. A new user added the latest image - I just cleaned it up. If we add some more text to the Clone Wars section, it shouldn't be as bad though. QuentinGeorge 23:06, 14 Jan 2006 (UTC)
      • Hopefully it won't look as bad. Admiral J. Nebulax 23:52, 14 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Incomplete??

Any particular reason this article is still categorized as incomplete? I was going to remove the tag but didn't want to step on any toes. Or maybe I misunderstand the category. - Breathesgelatin 06:08, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

  • There's nothing from Rite of Passage in his bio. QuentinGeorge 06:22, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
    • Breathesgelatin, do you have Rite of Passage? Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20px 18:36, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
      • Unfortunately, no, else I'd write the update myself. - Breathesgelatin 23:31, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
        • Too bad... Well, someone who has it needs to fill it in here. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20px 00:36, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
          • Yeah, I know. I'm considering buying the TPB so I can update this page. - Breathesgelatin 01:53, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
            • Well, thank you if you do buy it. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20px 01:57, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
              • Hey, I picked it up from Amazon today. I used super-saver shipping so it won't be here for a week most likely, but when I get it, I'll add in the Rite of Passage information. - Breathesgelatin 08:23, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
                • I added a quick summary of Rite of Passage, though if anyone wants to expand it, feel free - Kwenn 09:53, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
                  • Thank you. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20px 19:36, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
                  • Ok, so once I get Rite of Passage and write up a full summary, will the article then still be incomplete? Or are there any other TPBs I need to order? LOL - Breathesgelatin 19:51, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
                    • No, and no. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20px 20:06, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
                      • Good deal. Well I will take care of that as soon as the TPB arrives. - Breathesgelatin 02:04, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
                    • Actually, we could do with the pre-32 BBY section expanded (flashbacks are a good source here). QuentinGeorge 20:50, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
                      • True. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20px 21:42, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
  • I have the comics. I'll see what I can do. Im having some trouble with the image files (I have the comic scanned). If I can help I will but looks like some one else will need to do it.--DannyBoy7783 23:49, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

                            • Never mind. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20px 00:29, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
  • Breathesgelatin, please don't post in the middle of the discussion. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20px 09:47, 5 April 2006 (PDT)
    • Rite of passage arrived yesterday, will update the article tomorrow probably. - Breathesgelatin 22:09, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
      • Thank you. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20px 23:34, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Finished?

Ok everyone. I have updated with all the Rite of Passage information. I have added two pictures, as well. I was thinking of switching the image of Aayla healing Quinlan to an image of Quinlan and Aayla's master/knighting ceremony, however. What do you think? If you think it needs anything else, let me know. Otherwise I'll take off the incomplete tags in a few days. please please please let me know if you have suggestions! - Breathesgelatin 05:06, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

  • It looks good. Well done. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20px 11:55, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
    • I removed the final expansion/incomplete tags. Do you think this has what it takes to be a featured article now? I may nominate it. - Breathesgelatin 03:25, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
      • Well, it's already featured now anyway, so I'd take that as a yes. ;) Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 12:12, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
        • Ha, yes. Well, I nominated it. - Breathesgelatin 07:46, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

  • Hey I'm new to Wookiepedia so I don't know how to sign, but Quinlan is not Black or Hispanic he's just really tan, his parents might look black due to the flashback being skewed a little but I hope this puts and end to this Silly argument —Unsigned comment by Korto Vos (talk • contribs)

George Lucas rumour

It's stated in the article that "George Lucas himself is said to have requested that Quinlan survive The Hidden Enemy arc, possibly because of plans for an appearance in the TV series". I don't know where that comes from, but both John Ostrander and Jan Duursema put that rumour to rest here. I've therefore edited the article accordingly. Northerner 18:13, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Dark Quinlan

We should post the pic of dark quin from his battle with sora bulq in here maybe.

I just have to say I'm finally catchin the SWRepublic Comics, and I am loving Quinlan, though I don't expect him to fall to the darkside, I truly enjoy his brushes, and watching him wield that red saber N.Y.N.E.Comlink 07:06, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

wedding bells?

hi i was wondering if yall knew if Quinlan and Kahleen ever got married? User:Quinlanfan

  • No, I don't believe they did. - breathesgelatinTalk 22:15, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

they could have gotten married after clone wars vol. 9. it says that he was going to leave the jedi order after the clone wars to be with her. so...............any comments? Quinlanfan 02:42, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Well, if it is not covered in the comics, we could only really speculate, not know for sure. - breathesgelatinTalk 21:47, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Someone saw this descussion and put it on a website so Jan Duursema could answer it. He answered:
  • The Kiffar version of marriage is not a ceremony or a legal document. Kiffar 'marriage' is more of a state of mind or a state of being. Through Korto, Khaleen and Quin have an unbreakable connection--and a responsibility that transends their own separate lives. If you create life, you nurture that life, whatever hardships lie ahead. Ghosts(Comic)

  • for any of you that have read star wars tales vol. 5

Ghosts. Quin, or someone who looks EXACTLY like him, appears to help a teenage Han Solo. he even has the SAME lightsaber. so, what do ya think? Quinlanfan 02:52, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

    • This is covered in the Behind the Scenes section. It is not yet known if that story is canon or not. - breathesgelatinTalk 21:52, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
      • Though I don't have a specific source for it, my understanding is that Lucasfilm's policy on continuity is essentially as follows. All licensed works are considered inside continuity, unless: 1) a work is explicitly stated as being outside of continuity (Infinities), 2) is clearly a parody or humor piece, and/or 3) the very premise of the story itself clearly contradicts established conventions (force-using droids, a dark-side Yoda...). Those works contradicting canon in part are still considered part of continuity, with only the contradictory elements being placed outside of continuity. In this last case, an example often cited is the Rebel Assault video game. In this game, the first six "chapters" do not contradict continuity, but the remainder of the game after that point does. In this instance, "chapters" 1 through 6 are considered in-continuity, while the rest is not. K1darkknight 26 Jan 2007
  • If it's not yet known whether or not this story is canon, why is it listed in the article as "non-canon"? Shouldn't it be listed as "ambiguous canonicity" until we know more? Also, any ideas as to when this story is supposed to take place (if it was canon)? 72.80.168.123 07:44, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
    • I'm gonna have to agree with that. As there's no reason to call it strictly "non-canon," the section on the events of Ghost should be moved up to the Biography section and labeled "ambiguously canon."--66.119.111.203 21:20, November 5, 2009 (UTC)

  • I have known for a long time that he was at Mos Espa in episode I. What was he doing there? Why did he not reconize Qui-gon? Was this when he had his memory wiped?--Quinlanfan 17:09, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
    • I forget exactly what he was doing there, but it was part of the mission that led into Star Wars Republic: Twilight--it should be covered somewhere in the article. In one of the comics, possibly Star Wars Republic: The Stark Hyperspace War, Vos mentions that he did see Qui-Gon, but that he didn't blow their covers because didn't realize how dire Qui-Gon's situation was. One can assume that Qui-Gon never noticed Vos there.--Valin Kenobi 01:11, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
  • i guess thats true, i know he's there, but i never recognise him either :) user:Raltaran

In clone wars volume 9: End game quinlan says to kahleen that Kashyyk would be a good place to raise their child. Is it possible that they could have lived there, but far away from where the Empire was? Quinlanfan 00:10, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Maybe, but that's pure speculation at this point. - breathesgelatinTalk 03:24, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Saber form

  • Why was all mention of Vos's use of Ataru removed from this article? I thought Jan Duursema (sp?) had stated that he was a Form IV practitioner. Instead, there's this speculation about Form II, which isn't referenced or supported in great detail. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 22:58, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Also in nearly every issue he's appeared in he is shown using a reverse handed style. Doesn't this suggest that he is a shien practioner as well as an ataru practioner. --Jacenskylo 06:23, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Quinlan Marriage ?

Just to inform everyone so someone can update the article oif they want Jan [2] has an answer as to if he and Khaleen were married.

Huh?

  • "It has been rumored that Quinlan Vos is a practitioner of Form II, as he was trained by another rumored Makashi practitioner, Tholme. This arguement is strengthened by the fact that he is often seen fighting one-handed. "

First of all, Tholme was never stated to be a Form II practitioner, and simply reading into a comment made by Dooku telling Tholme he had been keeping up on his duelling skill, does not, at all mean he is a Form II. Form II focuses on saber to saber combat, that doesn't mean that they are the only Forms used for duelling. Form IV, V, and VII were also used. Form II was thought to be obsolete, and was not really taught in any dept to students. Tholme is not likely to be a Form II practitioner. Also 1 hand HAS NEVER MEANT that they are using Form II. This is bull fanwanking and I'm sick of it. We have a fanon wiki, go there posers! DarthMalus 19:07, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Force Unleashed???

  • In the recent Game Informer it said that Vader's student MAY hunt down Vos. He can't die because he may be in the Star Wars Live Action TV Show. Quinlanfan 16:08, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Just because Vader's apprentice hunts Vos, doesn't mean he'll catch and/or kill him. That would take quite a bit of retcon work if they killed him in the game as Quinlan has been shown, in comics, to be alive many years later. - JMAS 16:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
      • The canon status of Ghost is currently up in the air. And we don't know for sure that Quin is going to be in the TV series. He may simply join Shaak Ti as a Jedi spared from Order 66 only to die in the game - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 16:48, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
        • How dare you say that!!! Is Shaak Ti supposed to die in the game? Quinlanfan 20:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

master

When you see Quin in Episode I he seems to be a master. Also around that time he has Aayla as his student. He must have gotten his master or knight before Obi-Wan. Is this right? Quinlanfan 18:50, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

  • We know that Obi-Wan was paired with Qui-Gon and Tholme was paired with Quinlan as of the Stark Hyperspace War (which happened in 44BBY) but we don't actually (specifically) know at what point Aayla entered into the mix and became Quinlan's Padawan (and as an extension when Quinlan became a Jedi Knight). Quinlan definitely became a Jedi Master at the end of Rite of Passage which happened in 30 BBY, making his promotion around 11 years before Obi-Wan. Beyond that, we don't really know anything :S Chrizzkit 22:30, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
    • ROP is set in 28 BBY. Aayla became Quinlan's student around the age of 11 or so, so 37 BBY. Her training was completed by Tholme. QuentinGeorge 12:25, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Mission

Where is the following info from? It is known that in 32 BBY, Vos was in Mos Espa on Tatooine on an undercover mission, at the same time Qui-Gon Jinn found himself temporarily stranded there. Vos later mused that, had he been aware of Qui-Gon's plight, he would have undoubtedly aided him in reaching Coruscant. Quinlanfan 20:13, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Jedi investigator

Could Quin be one? The definition seems to fit his undercover work nicely. Purpilia 20:12, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Possible TFU secret apprentice

he is one of the possible apprentices of darth vader in the new game The Force Unleashed —Unsigned comment by 75.82.57.241 (talk • contribs)

  • No, he said that he was done with the Dark Side. Plus, the Secret Apprentice is bald and does not have Kiffar markings. I dont think he would shave his long, lion mane-like hair or cover up his markings. So, the answer to your question is no. Anzati02 22:54, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Dates & Belly size

It says that Korto Vos was born in 18 BBY but he is shortly before Order 66 Khaleen Hentz mentioned that she and the baby were okay. So this means that he was born in 19 BBY. But in the Clone Wars comics right before this one Quinlan says that he senses that she is carrying their child. She does not look pregnent. Does anyone know the answers to this? Anzati02 23:04, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

yeah i noticed that too. i think it was just a artist chose not to draw her pregnent. Sainz 16:17, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Question about "The Phantom Menace"

I had a question about Quinlan Vos and "The Phantom Menace." I know that the character who appears on Tatooine was the model for Quinlan Vos' character when he was first created in the comics. My question is this: has the character in "The Phantom Menace" been retconned to actually be Quinlan Vos?

  • Oh, never mind. Sorry. I just read the small fragment of the article on him before the article regarding his amnesia.

Just out of curiosity

Would Vos be considered an anti-hero, in any way? I can't exactly judge that myself, so I've directed it here.

Is it true he is being played by a white person in the live action series? i thought he was black

Personality and attitude toward clones

It just occurred to me that this article doesn't seem to have a Personality and traits section at all, which strikes me as odd.

On the topic of his personality and traits, I'm not particularly familiar with the EU regarding this character. Does anyone know if Mr. Vos ever states why he dislikes clones? -MPK 20:44, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

he says "They lack empathy. They're living weapons--bred for war alone." he also questions what to do with the clones during peace time. Sainz 16:22, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Mugshot

Before I step on anyone elses toes since there has been some dispute over the cropping of the infobox shot, just throwing this out there to get an idea of what people think. Cropped the image down to a mug shot as some favor around here. --Redemption25px(Talk) 05:41, September 23, 2009 (UTC) File:QuinlanmugS.jpg

  • Looks good to me. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 11:52, September 23, 2009 (UTC)

Family Guy Appearance

I watched the episode where Vos is supposedly dancing, but I don't think it's a clear-cut appearance, so I don't know if it should be there. Holokin 14:45, October 10, 2009 (UTC)Holokin

  • It should not. Family guy is not an official source. MauserComlink 14:46, October 10, 2009 (UTC)

Vos on the NJO era?

in the issue #5 of Invasion appears a prowler in Nar Shadda (place that is where the Vos family moved in the final issue of Republic) and the prowler clearly have the gift of the pyschometry (and he can apply that on living beings, just like Quinlan), because after touch Finn he knows his name, and the prowler also have a lightsaber on his belt, and later on the same issue, appears an holocron with pyramidal shape, just like the Quinlan´s holocron... did you have noticed that? i don´t know if he´s Quinlan or Korto, but it smells that the Vos family will made his glorious return on the Yuuzhan Vong war.--186.105.186.171 09:21, February 1, 2010 (UTC)Samayel

  • It possible, but we cannot add it to the Wookieepedia until it is confirmed in a later issue or by the authors. Darth Morrt 09:56, September 1, 2010 (UTC)

Sitting style

Quinlan Vos is often depicted sitting with his knees near his chest, like in DARKNESS or JEDI: MACE WINDU. It seems to be a quirk of his. Should this have a mention in the Personality section? --The Great and Grand Count Mall! 03:28, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

  • It isn't very notable, so I would say no. CC7567 (talk) 06:40, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

G canon picture

since Q Vos is gonna be in the "hunt for ziro" Clone wars episode and TCW is G canon, can someone put a picture of him from TCW as the main image. because G canon overrules the comics and stuff wich is what the current pic is216.235.236.192 20:12, November 1, 2010 (UTC)

Actually, TCW is "T-canon", and that really doesn't matter as far as this wiki unless it directly conflicts. The best picture should be chosen, regardless of source. —fodigg 20px (talk)|21:12, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
  • ACTUALLY, GL is an integral part of TCW. He writes all the first draft stories and even gives the final approval while he does editing with the team. How is that not G Canon exactly? GMo >:M:< 12:11, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
    • It is T-canon, because the Lucasfilm Licensing Ltd. says so. This way TCW cannot override anything in the films, but can override everything in the EU. Darth Morrt 13:14, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
      • Morrt has it right. T-canon was basically invented for the TCW cartoon. —fodigg 20px (talk)|13:53, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
        • Well and i quote "TCW cannot override anything in the films, but can override everything in the EU" The current picture is EU and a TCW picture would overrule it. soooo...to ask again Can a TCW pic be put up as his profile picture?216.235.236.192 20:25, November 9, 2010 (UTC)
          • Canon doesn't matter in this case. Wookieepedia uses profile pictures that are agreed to be the best possible, regardless of the canon level of the source. Live-action and photorealistic pictures are usually preferred, but there are exceptions. IMO, the current one is better than TCW's stylized version. After the episode is aired, higher res pictures of TCW Vos will be availibly. If you have an account, you can call a vote for changing it, however, I think it will fail.
