Revamping of article
This article needs:
- Body- probably a somewhat brief article on the personal computer as it relates to Star Wars gaming.
- List of Star Wars software, probably games for the most part
- External links (e.g. Wikipedia) – Aidje talk 16:50, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Well, I decided to just VFD it. After all, we have a list of Star Wars video games, and there is nothing special about how the PC relates to Star Wars gaming. - Sikon [Talk] 16:53, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Well, result of vote was Keep and rewrite. So, any ideas on how we can make this a good article? WhiteBoy 07:54, 26 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Set it up the same way as the consoles. Also add Windows capabilities like 95/98/XP, etc. -- Riffsyphon1024 08:11, 26 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- This article could be used to focus more on non-gaming software. I know there have been several behind the scenes and "guide to" style CD roms to come out. Also, there's some kids/educational software out there. I've never used them, but I know there is some sort of Pit Droids game and some game regarding ecosystems and lifeforms on Naboo. Star Wars Battlefront II information.
Rewritten
I rewrote the article so that it looks up to standard with the other video game console articles. I'm going to go back and reorder them by date of release and add some other games (such as the Lucas Learning games and the non-canon games in which Star Wars characters appear). Just thought I'd leave a note here so people know what's going on. Nighthawk205 18:19, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Image
Shouldn't we update it to a picture of a PC that supports Windows 7 (The current one is a model that is Windows XP)? You wouldn't put an image of PlayStation 1 on the PlayStation 3 article, would you?—BobaFett1 Bounties collected 20:54, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
- You got a big second from me. I was going to change that when I was doing the article, but wasn't sure if that was the best idea yet. Nighthawk205 03:13, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
- "Personal computer" is a general term, not a specific brand or model. I wouldn't put an image of a PS1 in a PS3 article, but I would put it in a games consoles article, which is essentially what's done in this article. -- I need a name (Complain here) 12:01, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
Page Revamp
I just got done reorganizing all of the released PC titles on the page into release order and adding sources and I thought I would give my reasoning for leaving some things out. I purposely left out any expansion packs, even popular ones such as Star Wars: X-Wing Tour of Duty: B-Wing or Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith as including every expansion or DLC made for a game will make an already long lust much longer than it needs to be. Same reasoning applies for leaving out compilations such as Star Wars: The Best of PC. Infectedzombieguy (talk) 17:37, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
