Rogue One connections
Obviously no speculation is allowed on the article, but is it possible that the Partisans are the unidentified rebel squad? Or is that out of the picture? -- NoahR9

- While possible, I find it very unlikely. In Bloodline, Leia doesn't approve of the Partisans actions; if their actions were stealing the Death Star plans, then she'd be quite the hypocrite. - Cwedin(talk) 03:55, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Onderon rebels
It seems like the Partisans are intended to be the same rebels that fought on Onderon; not the Clone Wars ones (at least not yet), but the ones that were mentioned by Kallus in The Honorable Ones. This, plus other sources in which the Partisans are mentioned without the mention of Jedha, seems to indicate that the Partisans are not (or were not, at some pont) solely limited to Jedha. - Yeah the visual guide says 'Saw's ragtag movement has changed faces many times since its origins during the Cone Wars', I think at the very least its the same ones mentioned in that Rebels episode you mentioned --Lewisr (talk) 14:24, December 17, 2016 (UTC)

Name change?
Since their first naming identification in Bloodline, the Partisans have been almost exclusively referred to as "Saw Gerrera's partisans/rebels/militia". I propose that this article be renamed to "Saw Gerrera's Partisans" as seen first in Bloodline. The starwars.com databank was also recently updated and the Partisans have numerous references made to them, in which "Saw Gerrera's partisans" is the dominant identification. If the move is made, it seems necessary that a "partisan" page be made to better explain just what is a partisan, similar to soldier, trooper, or terrorist. - Changing it does make sense, but at the same time, we know from the description of the upcoming Inferno Squad novel that the Partisans continue to exist after Gerrera's death, in such a form that they seem to still be a major threat to the Empire even without the presence of their founder. Partisan with a scout trooper helmet.
