Notable

Does this really warrant its own article? I mean, we're an encyclopedia, not an in-universe newspaper. --Imp 16:23, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Hmm, an event involving the possible murders of Padawans by their Masters. Yeah, I think its article worthy.--KrossTransmit on Holonet? 14:08, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
What I'm saying is we can't make an article about every minor event like this. I would hate to see articles such as Bar fight of Mos Eisley or Stormtrooper murder of Kejim. --Imp 14:20, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
I think it should be deleted for now. Later, when the Commencement story arc is completed, maybe then the "Padawan Massacres of Taris" will fit in a much broader article relating to the events of the whole story. --Azizlight 23:26, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
It'll probably be expanded later as the start point of a larger event. Can't you just put a future tag on it? --Razzy1319 05:05, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
If anything, this should simply be included in the biographies of those concerned. --Imp 10:39, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
There's always things like Skirmish in the Death Star and Battle of the Great Pit of Carkoon. I agree, a consistent policy is needed. We have no notability requirements for characters and the like, but we have to draw the line somewhere for events. -LtNOWIS 21:52, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
I just wanted to take issue with the title. There was only one massacre. The name implies a series of incidents. Lonnyd 08:21, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
  • Someone will have to completely rewrite this due to the revelation in issue 5. I'd do it myself but I'm too tired. Kuralyov 06:39, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
    • I am going to move this article to "Massacre," singular. Any onjections? Lonnyd 03:52, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

"I wonder how many people will recognize that the chapters following the Padawan Massacre (as Wookieepedia now calls it) mirror the Kubler-Ross model of the five stages of grief, as popularized in psychology..."

  • I saw that! From what I've read before, JJM uses wookieepedia as a source alot. Which is AWESOME. Lonnyd 07:22, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
  • Abel was right to call us a pop cultural phenomenon, but let's not get too full of ourselves. :P -- Riffsyphon1024 07:56, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
    • If anything, I'd like to think of us as a place where trivia and details that fall through official cracks get caught and put on display, thus working as a source of inspiration for fans and authors alike. As a starting point, not an endpoint, mind. [/obligatory disclaimer]. :P VT-16 15:00, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

Confession

Lucien's quote from the aftermath section ends "Or at least I might as well have." It isn't a confession, It was just made to make us think it was. Lonnyd 18:13, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

  • No one disagreed, so I deleted that bit. Lonnyd 08:03, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Malak

Should it be noted that the figure they saw was probably Darth Malak(Alek)(in flashpoint he's shown wearing the very same red spacesuit from their vision)? gz33 (talk) 09:33, July 18, 2010 (UTC)
