Behind the Scenes section
Should we add in the BTS section from the Legacy page? Since it refers to the character in the real world and not "in universe," I don't see why not. Promus Kaa(Comm Chatter) 05:22, December 25, 2014 (UTC)
- A BTS can be added, but it needs to be rewritten so it's unique to the canon page (even if it includes the same basic information). The reason for that is because we don't copy and paste from one article to another. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 05:24, December 25, 2014 (UTC)
- Gotcha. I went ahead and wrote up a new one for the Canon page here. Promus Kaa(Comm Chatter)

Ep VII appearance
In which scene did Nien Nunb appear in The Force Awakens? Jaewade (talk) 19:01, December 19, 2015 (UTC)
- He was one of the Resistance pilots during the fight over the Starkiller. He also appeared on the Resistance base, I believe. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 19:04, December 19, 2015 (UTC)
TFA picture
Now that TFA is out digitally and on Blu-ray, does anyone think they can snag a good image of Nien Nunb in the film for his infobox (preferably without his helmet on)? Cevan (talk) 23:51, April 6, 2016 (UTC)
Death
Is he dead or not? --Goodmind (talk) 22:50, January 9, 2020 (UTC)
- The simple answer right now is we don't know. Rae Carson (TROS novel author) originally said she felt comfortable confirming his death, then someone showed her a comment from Mike Quinn saying he was alive and now she says if he does end up living, we'll all celebrate. So I guess until something outright says he is dead, we should leave it blank --Lewisr (talk) 22:57, January 9, 2020 (UTC)
- Matt Martin also recently responded to the question of whether the Tantive IV made it out with a gif that said "Outlook not so good", so I'm not optimistic about his chances but he also avoided giving a straight answer (that would need to be corroborated by a published source regardless). I hope he's alive though :( Snap hurts enough! Toqgers (talk) 00:51, January 10, 2020 (UTC)
- Hey gusy! I recently spoke with Mike Quinn via his Facebook and he told me, as he said in the message displayed on Twitter, that Nien Nunb survived The Rise of Skywalker as the Tantive IV is seen landing on Ajan Kloss following the Battle of Exegol. He does note, however, that the Tantive IV was originally intended to be destroyed but the idea was dropped. He suggested me that perhaps Nien's death was written in an earlier screenplay, and considering that novelizations are based on the film's screenplay, perhaps that earlier draft was the one read by Rae Carson while writing the novelization. ---- X9 The Android (talk) 00:59, January 10, 2020 (UTC)
- At this point, I think its best to just wait for a source to say one way or another what the outcome was --Lewisr (talk) 01:08, January 10, 2020 (UTC)
- Besides than an actor's word would not be enough to consider that he's alive. Right now everything seems to point that he died, but we will wait for the novel/home media to confirm it.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 01:32, January 10, 2020 (UTC)
