I would like to see this article focus more on the overall fleet, its transition from the rat-tag Rebel Alliance fleet and growth into an organized military body through the New Republic's different eras, and less on the types of vessels it used. Ship type designations

The divisions among ship types (cruiser, destroyer, etc.) seem really arbitrary, since the designations go against the ship names themselves and those ships' articles. For example, the Nebula-class Star Destroyer is listed under Cruisers, many of the ships in the Destroyers section are actually cruisers, etc. This needs to be fixed.
