How

Perhaps we should qualify this list with "how" the planets were destroyed? There's a fair difference between the total destruction of Alderaan and the surface devastation of Caamas, for instance. - QuentinGeorge 08:12, 13 May 2005 (UTC)

  • I believe when I created this page, all the planets were utterly destroyed. Beeurd added Caamas afterward. But I do like the idea of separating by method of destruction. We could also add Clak'dor VII due to biological and chemical war. -- Riffsyphon1024 19:57, 13 May 2005 (UTC)
    • I'd have to say that even "partially destroyed" should mean "rendered incapable of supporting life." By that definition, Clak'dor VII wouldn't qualify, while worlds like Caamas and Ithor would. Oh, and by the way, when was Enarc destroyed? JSarek 20:05, 13 May 2005 (UTC)
      • How about "Rendered Inhabitable" or simply "Devastated", something similar? I agree that the distinction needs to be made between different degrees of destruction. --Beeurd 20:11, 13 May 2005 (UTC)
        • I like those also. We should make the distinction as defined as possible. -- Riffsyphon1024 20:45, 13 May 2005 (UTC)

Year of destruction

I think the year of destruction should be added to the list. Thoughts? --Imperialles 20:45, 20 May 2005 (UTC)

  • Sure. The more info, the better. -- Riffsyphon1024 07:40, 22 May 2005 (UTC)

Rakata Prime?

Shouldn't Rakata Prime be added to the list of worlds partially destroyed. In the planet's article it says it wa devastated by WMD's after the fall of the Infinate Empire.

No, because Revan visits it in KOTOR, which happened after the fall of the Infinite Empire. There's no evidence that is was actually destroyed. - Bub

Shola?

Shola was completely destroyed? The volcanic remains float around space, so shouldn't it be "partially destroyed"? Ijtzoi 15:27, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

  • If so, you would be correct then. -- Riffsyphon1024 23:18, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

The remains of Alderaan float around in space, too. DarthEinstein 02:49, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

1.1 Cleanup

This page is supposed to be a list of destroyed planets, but in the Completely Destroyed section, some of the things destroyed aren't planets. Will that be fixed?

Mandalore—Partially destroyed?

The craters were so large that they hardly had to mine to find more Beskar. Is that destroyed enough to add?—B-Boba Fett! He'll kill us all! JasterMereelsSigil-TESB 19:40, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Taris?

Anyone notice that Taris isnt under anything? It was devestated, while not completely destroyed was bombarded by Malak. It should fall under the bombardment by jedi/sith category.

  • That category was for planets rendered uninhabitable. Taris wasn't rendered uninhabitable; by 40 ABY Taris had been rebuilt and resettled. IFYLOFD (Floyd's crib) 00:23, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

Dantooine?

How the heck do we know that Dantooine was Vongformed? Has there been any evidence of this? MillieMuddFan67 19:00, September 6, 2010 (UTC)

Yes actually it was being "reshaped" by the Vong in the legacy area comics to render it habitable again. Darth Needham 19:59, May 30, 2011 (UTC)

Are you sure that's not Wayland? MillieMuddFan67 18:05, May 31, 2011 (UTC)

Looks like your right, sorry I don't have A answer then. Darth Needham 23:27, June 3, 2011 (UTC)

Thought so. MillieMuddFan67 17:33, June 4, 2011 (UTC)

Fate of Indobok

I'm currently refraining from GAN the B'rknaa article because that point is unclear to me: do sources explicitely say that Indobok was destroyed following the collision between Kalarba and Hosk Station, or is this only (logical) assumption? --LelalMekha (talk) 12:25, February 15, 2013 (UTC)

Osara

This makes no mention of the Osara Mundicide, taking place during the Tenth Alsakan Conflict when the Old Republic bombed the planet Osara with a Cal-class battleship. 108.56.196.116 17:40, July 14, 2013 (UTC)

Hosnian Prime

I came to this article expecting to find the Hosnian Cataclysm but don't see it on here. Was this not also "mundicide"?
