The MAF was clearly seen in Episode III. Why was it taken off of Appearances?

  • No it wasn't. The HMP Gunship was seen in Episode III; the MAF was seen in Battlefront only. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 20:02, 7 Oct 2005 (UTC)
    • Don't you think the two were most likely the same craft, only that the makers of Battlefront used an older design of the HMP, which had probably been redesigned just shortly before or after the game had been released? Tulon 15:00, 19 Mar 2006
      • No, they weren't. Look at the name, the stats. They were two different craft. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 15:58, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
      • Apart from being manufactured by two different companies, having different armament, different shapes and different names, yeah they were the same ships. :P VT-16 18:21, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
        • Exactly. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 19:44, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
          • But wasn't the HMP Gunship a droid while the MAF was controlled by pilots? Cyfiero 06:42, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
            • Pretty much all of the aerial and units in Battlefront 1 and 2 were controlled by droid pilots as a requirement of gameplay mechanics. This included the HMP and the Vulture droids. --FFN 21:26, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

BF2

I Don't Rember This Anywhere In BF2--Kyronix 11:44, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

When I first saw Episode 3 after playing BF1, I was amazed to see that Flyer-like vehicle during the Battle of Kachirho. I couldn't even ignore it. The fact that it's considered non-canon in BF1 is somewhat interesting since the gunship in Ep3 looked really similar. Maybe with the growing popularity of the Battlefront franchise they tried to pull some sort of retcon? --RadicalEdward2 09:36, May 11, 2012 (UTC)
