Combination

To get to the point, several subsections should probably be combined into larger ones, reducing the messy look of the article. Ex. The 'Diciples of Ragnos' section should probably moved into the 'Empire Reborn' section, since it is about a splinter group of that faction. I also think the 'Kueller' section should be combined into something, but I don't know what. Maybe we could rename the 'Black Fleet Crisis' header, since Luke had little to do with that, and change it to something more generic that could include 'Kueller.' Are there any other sections that require this remedy, and do any agree with me? -Solus 16:09, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

  • If you look at the FA nom for Luke, found here, it was requested that more subsections be added, so I added a bunch. Granted, the Disciples of Ragnos might be better in the Empire Reborn section and also we should place the Waru part in there. The New Rebellion is hard to fit into any of the other categories- kind of a weird little non sequitur. If you have a viable way to do so, let me know. I'll rename the Black Fleet Crisis section now.     • Hm. I see. Well, there was also conflict about the 'Waru' and 'Kueller' parts in the FA discussion, as well. We could probably integrate the 'Kueller' part in with the 'Black Fleet Crisis' by renaming the 'Black Fleet' part something like 'Guarding the Peace,' 'Guardian of the Republic,' 'Keeping the Peace,' 'Protector of the Republic,' 'Eet Mor Chikin'... something like that.       • Yes, I've been meaning to give the Waru/Kueller sections a nice copysmacking this weekend. The problem with integrating Kueller and BFC is that Luke did the exact opposite of defending the Peace in BFK- he went off adventuring with Akanah while the New Reps went to heck in Koornacht . . .       • I have read the BFC books, it's just that I skipped the Luke parts because it seemed like a lot of baloney. I did grammar check that part in the article, though, so I know a little about it. Problems

Just so we get all of our ducks in a row, how about everyone just go ahead and make a list right here of all of the technical problems with the Luke Skywalker article, we can then address them. Please can each person make one bullet point for each problem, and not several in one bullet point, and not repeat a previously written down problem.   • See Wookieepedia:Featured Article on the Luke Skywalker section. Look under objections and that has most of them. Fix Waru/Empire Reborn. Do something with Kueller. Dark Lord

Yup, Quotes again

This is a very good article, and I believe it should be featured sometime soon. However, as with the Palpatine article, we need a good main quote. The "I am a Jedi" one is good, but not as good as "That boy is our last hope" in my opinion. I will change it back, and if somebody objects they can talk about it here or my talk page.--Vladius Magnum(Clan Magnum)

  • I disagree. I reverted it earlier because I do not feel the *current* quote is as expressive of Luke's character as the "I am a Jedi, like my father before me" quote. However, since this something of a democracy, I suppose it can be placed to a vote.
