Temp page

All right, I made a temp page. It's not perfect, but better than a caopyright violation page. Kuralyov 21:24, 27 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Rank

Throughout Horn's time in working with the Invids, Tavira is described and addressed as Admiral, and Luke names her as a rogue Imperial Admiral. Did she give herself the rank of Admiral, or was that a mistake on Stackpole's part? -- SFH 23:52, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

  • I think it was a self-promotion, much like Zsinj's adopting the rank of Grand Admiral.Tocneppil 08:33, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
    • I could see that, but the standard norm was for warlords to promote themselves to higher ranks. I was under the impression Moff was a higher rank than Admiral (excepting Grand Admirals, of course). -- SFH 03:12, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
      • She probably dropped the moff title when she left Eiattu and started using the ranking system of the pirates she hooked up with. Kuralyov 03:19, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
      • Moffs are normally ex officio High Admiral of their Sector Group; and Count Laabann calls her "Moff Tavira" in Masquerade. --McEwok 18:34, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
        • Masquerade takes place before I, Jedi.Tocneppil 03:00, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Invids?

I changed the middle section of the article, since the previous version was factually incorrect. The Invids were not formed until much later, when she acquired the Invidious; the group she joined in X-Wing was Kavil's Corsairs. Custodes 08:58, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Age

Why the ambiguous birthdate? I have only memory to go on, but I believe the promotional material for the issues introducing her describe Leonia as "a sixteen-year old Moff" at the current time in the story (4 ABY). Is there evidence indicating uncertainty? -Dangerdan97 06:23, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Wasn't The Warrior Princess just some months after Endor, not four years? Or is that a retcon from the Omnibus collections? If so, that might explain it. Evir Daal 11:47, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
    • A few months after Endor IS 4 ABY. Dangerdan97 12:17, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Capture?

I would vote for removing the speculation of a following capture. A person who "owns" a whole Star Destroyer to do her every bidding is all but "powerless" in my eyes. She did quite well before controlling the Jensaarai, too - so loosing them surely is a setback, but by no means a definite end. How do you think? -- Tulon 02:00 5 April 2007

  • Agreed, that's a bit presumptuous, unless the line is a paraphrase from some newer source...Dangerdan97 12:18, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
