Hey! where did the Dramatis personae come from? I dont know if it's official or not so I wont change it but shouldnt it say Jacen is a Sith apprentice... not a jedi knight?

  • It's official but not necessarily the final version.[1] YwingEmpress 00:27, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
    • Also, Jacen hasn't had his "coming out" as a Sith yet, he's still a Jedi. Lonnyd 06:55, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

Wasnt there supposed to be an e-book released with this book? Or am I thinking about a different EU release?- FuzzyJedi

Just how old is old in Star Wars, anyway? I know medical technology is light years ahead of real life standards, so what would Boba Fett be like at the age of 70 (as he is in this novel?) I mean, other characters who were around this age died of old age - like Mothma, Ackbar, etc. So it gives the impression that Star Wars aging is more or less similiar to real life. Then we have characters like Fett at 70, still actively bounty hunting, and Pellaeon in his 80-90s still leading the military. So what exactly is old age in Star Wars? --Danik Kreldin 21:58, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Well, yeah, Ackbar was 70 when he died, but Monmothma was 72, and had already gone through the fun of almost dieing that one time (when the dude thre that stuff in her face, i forget what book its in) and she had been through a whole lot as well. Even Ackbar had been through alot, with his being a slave to Tarkin and all that. fuzzyjedi

  • People in the real world can still be quite active in their 70s and later. Think Douglas Macarthur, and Churchill, who was over 80 when he was Prime Minister of the UK - QuentinGeorge
  • You bring up a good point. Because if you think about it, Luke and Leia should be entering their early 60's right about now, and they're still as active as they were many years ago. Maybe bacta helps slow down the aging process...

      • In The Joiner King Leia tells Han, 64, that he should live another five decades. This probably means that the average human in the SW universe lives to be about 110. --Etapelba 08:51, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
        • Rostek Horn is still around in 25 ABY at 103 years old.--Etapelba 20:15, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

Spoilers

Ok people its about this time spoilers will start spilling through, like betrayel lets not have any wiping of content, becasue I get my stuff from reliable sources Jedi Dude 09:47, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

Will anyone who has the book start filling in info for the section already? I would if I had it, since I don't though someone with that knowledge would, or are we just waiting for our friends in the U.K. and Australia to receive the book? Darth EJ 22:07, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

I found this line from the article interesting:

"...while Luke and Mara Skywalker fear for their only son, Ben, when his Jedi Master, Jacen Solo, makes a dangerous choice that shocks both families and the Galaxy at large."

Does this mean that they find out that Jacen is a Sith in this book or is it referring to something else? Has anyone read this thing yet? 75.7.157.24 20:51, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

    • Yep i've read it and no they don't find out, Luke is getting his suspicions, but to be honest this isn't the place to talk about it Jedi Dude 20:53, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Skywalker

Where's the source for Anakin Skywalker being in this book? And in what form? I haven't got it yet coz the people i ordered it off have screwed up :'(. Jasca Ducato Sith Council (Sith campaign) 18:51, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

This book is amazing

I know this isn't the place, but it really is quite amazing, Traviss's style is perfect, and everything is starting to fall into place now, chracters are developing, fast. But back on track are we aloud to start forming a plot for the article or shall I leave it a while longeR? Jedi Dude 15:53, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Go right ahead. If any publication has been released you can add it's plot to the article. Bonko 16:30, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Did they release it in hardcover at all. I could only find paperback copies? Great book though.--Darth Oblivion 04:28, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Only 1, 5, and 9 will be available in hardcover. HandofDestiny 10:08, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
    • which is good for the working man, in the uk its the difference of £6 or £20 lol :PJedi Dude 10:11, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
      • The Science Fiction Book Club has released a hardcover edition of Bloodlines but, being as it's a book club edition, it will be slightly smaller than the mass market hardcovers.--General Starkiller 10:22, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Being in the US, Betrayal (hardcover) cost me $18.17 and Bloodlines (paperback) cost me $5.59 with employee discount.--Darth Oblivion 18:26, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

    • Though Jaina didn't have a huge, huge role I like the book alot. Traviss brings back the YJK Jacen a bit in the book because that Jacen was somewhat indecisive. I also love the scenes between Mirta and Boba Fett. Jaina SoloGoddess StuffJainaSolo-DarkJourneyJapanese 18:56, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
      • Whats the deal, I searched three stores and couldn't find a hardcover. Though the paperback fits my budget better. How did everyone else find them so easy? Lonnyd 08:06, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

No one said they found Bloodlines in a hardcover. It has only been printed in paperback--Darth OblivionComlinkSith Emblem 15:23, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Oh Betrayal, my mistake. Lonnyd 17:07, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Question about the Jedi Civil War

I read on the Jedi Civil War page, that it was mentioned in this book. Could someone please give me the reference? Xenten

Hard Cover

Has this book been released in Hard Cover, or is it only Paperback? .... 02:16, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Except for the Science Fiction Book Club version, it's only in paperback. -LtNOWIS 02:36, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
    • Damn! Why would they do that? .... 02:38, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
      • There's been a lot of questions of the legitimacy of a "hardback" version of this book on the internet lately. I think it would be a good idea to add this information into the main article about the Science Fiction Book Club version release of the book. Any else agree? Sadriel Fett (Mando'a) 20:59, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Spoiler Warning

I think it's been long enough that we can get rid of the major spoiler warning, don't you? Everytime I try to do it, after just deleting the "spoiler" section in the edits, the preview of the page has the articles' title a little jacked up, though. So, if anyone else wants to take a shot, go for it. Sadriel Fett (Mando'a) 21:39, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Week

  • If a week is five days, how does Tempest begin seven days later when it says on that page it's a week? Stupid not-Earth-like timeunits. Chack Jadson 23:12, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
    • Ideas? Chack Jadson 15:43, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
      • Where did it say a week was five days? Also, this could refer to a work week or be a simple OOU mistake. —Xwing328(Talk) 00:18, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
        • On the Galactic Standard Calendar page. I mean, I figured it was just an OOU mistake, but I'd say it creates a major problem. Two conflicting sources. Chack Jadson 19:49, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
          • So what's the situation (captain)? Chack Jadson 01:07, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
            • To what degree is the timeline official and in-universe? -LtNOWIS 01:10, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
              • If you mean the one on this page I don't know. Although, looking over it, I'm not sure why the length of a week makes so much difference. Chack Jadson 01:13, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Chapter's Names

I was wondering if so one can send the names of the chapters for the audio book cause I got it today and notices there was tracks so can someone tell me the names of these tracks?

New name conflict - Looks like there are now three books with the same title. Star Wars: Bloodlines discussed on IO9 and USA Today w/a release scheduled for May 3. 169.252.4.21 15:18, February 5, 2016 (UTC)
