Basic
"However, he could only read and write in Basic.[53] " But wasn't Lando speaking Basic in episodes V and VI? Or is it implying that Basic is the only language he could read, and the others he could only speak? I'd appreciate it if someone could clarify that for me. Korsa3 02:38, May 18, 2010 (UTC)
- That implies that Basic was the only language Lando was literate in at the time of that writing. He could speak and understand other languages, but Basic was the only one he could read and write in. Trak Nar Ramble on 03:14, May 18, 2010 (UTC)
Blackstar Warrior
I just noticed that neither Wookiepedia, nor Star Wars.com make mention of the Blackstar Warrior short that debuted at Comicom 2010. --68.45.218.70 11:19, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
Sernpidal
During Vector prime, Han thinks that he was lured to Sernpidal, and I was wondering if that's true.
SWGB appearance
Lando is a playable character in Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, in the Wookiee campaign bonus mission.
'Actor and Author Comments' section
I think there's an error in the 'actor and author comments' section on Lando's page. It says that ABC news reported that Billy Dee's popularity as an actor rose in the 1970's due in no small part to his role in Star Wars. Empire obviously came out in 1980, so I think someone made a mistake. --ZacKatarn (talk) 08:55, November 26, 2015 (UTC) ZacKatarn
- Well, the link which is used for the reference says:"Billy Dee Williams rose to screen success in the 1970s, and by far his most recognizable role was as part of the Rebel Alliance, playing Lando Calrissian". That's what the source said, and while information on casting was not as easy for the general population was not as easy to acquire back then as it is now, Billy Dee's casting would have likely caused an amount of buzz months or years before the movie came out in 1980, but I have removed the "due in no small part" bit. Also, the code from the main page should not be copied (pretty much anywhere), so I've removed it. Trip391 (talk) 09:18, November 26, 2015 (UTC)
Canon/Legends naming
As Lando's canon page is currently situated at "Landonis Balthazar Calrissian", is there any reason this page shouldn't be simply "Lando Calrissian", in line with Leia Skywalker Organa Solo/Leia Organa Solo?RogueWhistler (talk) 17:14, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
- Yep, it's like that because of the naming policy. Basically, some Legends film characters have "/Legends" so that alternate names can redirect to the canon article. You can read the original amendment here. - Cwedin(talk) 18:22, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
