Canon
How is the Kyber Saber canon? —Unsigned comment by David Kibasennin (talk • contribs)
- It isn't. It's non-canon to the new canon continuity, hence the {{Noncanon}} tag. Zed42 (talk) 05:03, June 19, 2020 (UTC)
- I clicked on the page by seeing it as the 'canon' version of the First Blade. Now it's been fixed, but it was marked as canon without the {{Noncanon}} tag. --David Kibasennin (talk) 05:12, June 19, 2020 (UTC)
- I fixed the canon issue - now the page is marked as Legends, rather than Canon. Sweetkid01 (talk) 17:41, August 14, 2020 (UTC)
- Not Legends. See Legends and Canon. - - -

Canon Page
Obviously, the Kyber Saber is not directly stated to be Canon, however, it is mentioned in the book Droidography. It is said M-OC was hunting a legendary weapon, which is quite obviously referring to the Kyber Saber, especially since it canonised some stuff from the Freemaker Adventures. Even just something such as
Unidentified Legendary Weapoon
Emperor Palpatine's Hunter Droid, M-OC hunted a legendary weapon.
Behind the scenes Kyber Saber/LEGO The Legendary Weapon was first mentioned in Droidography, however, it debuted in the second season of the Non-Canon show the Freemaker Adventures. The Legendary Weapon was the Kyber Saber, the first lightsaber to be created. It was eventually destroyed when it was plunged into the Kyber Crystal mounted on M-OC's back.
Would work well. GREATRJ1 (talk) 19:19, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, a canon page could be made at "Unidentified legendary weapon" with the sort of information you've put there. You're welcome to make it, though be sure to source your additions per policy Lewisr (talk) 20:03, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- I'll get to it, though given my history with sourcing, the sources in the notes and references maybe a bit messed up. GREATRJ1 (talk) 09:05, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- The page has been created. As expected, error's have occured when attempting to source, to which I have no idea how to fix. I have also attempted to add it to the weapons category with less than desirable results. With some cleaning up it should be good. As for now this page will need its name changed to Kyber Saber/LEGO. - Per the naming policy, I'm not seeing any valid reason to change this page title to /LEGO. /LEGO subpages are very rare and only used in a very limited set of circumstances when conditions are met and there's not a "true" conflicting page title.—spookywillowwtalk 17:18, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
