I always thought that the scene with Rookie and Ru drinking was in the Tatooine base, having returned after training on Kolaador. I find very difficult that while Devastator hunted Leia, an alert was set on Tatooine, Rookie and Ru were alarmed on Kolaador, and then hyperspaced all the way to Tatooine to attack the Devastator.

Apart from that (ambiguous) scene, it's not obvious from the game that Kolaador had a base; what I understood was that pilots were there for training, and then returned immediately to Tatooine.

Does the Excerpts mention that they were alerted while on a base on Kolaador? Does it even mention the existence of a base on that plaatnet? MoffRebus 15:31, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

If nothing else, Rebel Assault: The Official Insider's Guide has the bar room scene with a caption of "Back on Kolaador: "Attention all pilots: Report to battle stations immediately. Tatooine Base is under attack!"" which means that the scene is indeed on Kolaador. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 15:55, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Jaymach's answer is pretty conclusive but for what it's worth:
  • After the training run, Murleen says "Follow me to base, and we'll get you assigned to a squadron. And while we're waiting, I'll let you buy me a drink for that fancy flying." It then shows them landing at the structure shown on File:KolaadorRebelBase.jpg and are next seen in a bar.
  • Rookie One, Murleen and Harris go to Anchorhead Base's help, starting in space before heading down to the planet. They're then joined by Simms, who was last seen in the first mission on Tatooine with Green Squadron. Presumably he at least is based there.
  • Excerpts mentions Rookie One being back in the same bar three years later, long after Anchorhead Base was destroyed so it couldn't be there. Green Tentacle (Talk) 16:44, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
