"a Jari Kintaka"
Where does the "a Jari Kintaka" stuff come from? — SavageBob 15:28, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- The Essential Guide to Alien Species. —Silly Dan (talk) 15:30, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- The full name "Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka" is now sourced on the article. — Delmar Nori 00:45, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
Kneesaa´s only sister
I don´t consent with the texts that affirms "Wiley and Nippett are Chirpa´s children borned after his second marriage". A lot of texts (including Wookieepedia´s texts) affirms that Wiley and Nippett are Lumat and Zephee´s children, like Latara.
The episode The Travelling Jindas confirm this fact.
So, Asha is the only sister for Kneesaa. And the princess never had a brother. - Delmarnori 01:15, 13 Nov 2006
- You're absolutely right. I believe that info comes from The Essential Guide to Characters, where the author obviously got Kneesaa and Latara mixed up. (See Talk:Nippet for the same dispute.) The article has been corrected. -- Ozzel 04:53, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
The quote
If only one quote is necessary, I vote for the quote from episode Princess Latara that I wrote here. My quote is more near of Kneesaa´s own qualities. -- Delmarnori 19:50, 18 February 2007
- Yes, the "We are Ewoks, remember" quote pretty much establishes only that she's an Ewok, which we probably already knew. It'd be useful as a quote for Asha, though. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:26, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
Rise of the Empire era
Princess Kneesaa appears in How the Ewoks Saved the Trees: An Old Ewok Legend, and its story happens at Rise of the Empire era (see here). So, we must insert the same era at Kneesaa's article. -- Delmarnori 17:23, 25 October 2007
- What's your source for the story taking place in the "Rise" era? Other than the article? --Imperialles 19:32, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- I don't have another source. If we can not trust the book's article, we really must cut the Rise of the Empire from Kneesaa's one. -- Delmarnori 17:59, 25 October 2007
Hair color
According The Essential Guide to Characters, Kneesaa had gray fur. But the comics and the two seasons of TV series showed a lot of different colours for Kneesaa's fur. All the comics showed her all-white. The first TV season showed her with many shades of white, silver and blue colours, and the second TV season showed Kneesaa with many shades of blue, gray and silver colours.
I believe that the productors of all this issues had no care to make a standard colour for each Ewok in all appearances. But I believe that the original productors's desire was to draw Kneesaa with all-white fur, to make a contrast with the various shades of the other Ewoks, and to make a very beautiful princess with white fur, a pink hood and a gem on it.
And, finally, Morag the Tulgah witch called Kneesaa as "white-fur", during the episode Sunstar vs. Shadowstone.
So, if we must give canon sources for the article, I vote for to write Shades of white and gray in the info box, informing this respectives sources Sunstar vs. Shadowstone and The Essential Guide to Characters. -- Delmarnori 23:18, 26 October 2007
Necessary appearances and GA/FA status
I wrote about the most important Kneesaa's appearances on comic books and the TV episodes. There are another stories, but I think her little appearance at Blue Harvest is unnecessary on this article.
I need a help for the other appearances. These stories are more about one of her friends (Wicket, Teebo, Latara) or about all of four, than about Kneesaa herself. And I don't seeing a way to fit other Wookieepedia's texts for Kneesaa's article.
We need to solve this question, before think about GA or FA status. Or can we consider this article ready for it? — Delmar Nori 00:59, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
Essential Guide image?
The Essential Guide to Characters had an image of Kneesaa, I believe. May be a good addition to this page. --JMM 20:46, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- If I'm not wrong, I remember that image is all white-and-black, and was removed from Kneesaa's article by one of the Wookieepedian Inquisitorius. We are prefering coloured good images. -- Delmar Nori 21:11, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Really? I'd think for the sake of completeness, and having the only official Kneessaa image that doesn't come from a cartoon, we'd want it included. Seems strange to reject it simply because it's black and white. --JMM 21:32, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- It can be restored if need be, although I don't think it's really needed. And there is actually a live-action version of Kneesaa... of sorts. :-P -- Ozzel 22:45, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- That's a good image, despite it's a black-and-white image. I agree it could be never removed. But it was, none of other Wookieepedians restored it, and I couldn't start an edit wars here. Now I have no idea about where the image could be restored, without removing one of the more new images. If someone have an idea, please tell here. -- Delmar Nori 23:53, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Childhood's section
What's the reason for last Soresumakashi's change? The title became non-well formatted. -- Delmar Nori 00:46, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- I've fixed the formatting issue; he accidentally clicked the
link button. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 00:52, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Doubt about FOX watermarks
I'm planning to nominate the article for FA status. But I have a doubt. Some images have good quality, but was taken from the brazilian Fox Channel broadcasting, and have FOX watermarks. I must know if this images must be replaced by another ones without FOX watermarks, or if the present images are ready for FA status. -- Delmar Nori 02:17, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Offspring?
Does Kneesaa ever have any children with Wicket? That'd be useful information.--EwokFangirl 03:09, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
- There's no canon source about it. Only about their wedding. -- Delmar Nori 01:10, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
The blue gem
Princess Kneesaa's blue gem fixed on the top of her head resembles traditional female gems from India. It could be written on Behind the scenes. I don't remember another female Star Wars character with a similar gem. -- Delmar Nori 03:23, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- indent Thats a pretty good idea, my friend :)
- Interesting idea, but it's not the only possible explanation, so I think a source is needed that establishes there is indeed a connection. ~ SavageBob 07:15, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- There are some tikka photos here. -- Delmar Nori 17:34, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, but my problem isn't, "Does Kneesaa's gem look like a tikka." It's, "Did the Ewoks creators use a tikka as inspiration for Kneesaa's bindi?" Since this is not the only possible explanation, it would be original research for us to assume as much. ~ SavageBob 01:44, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Jumping Ewok?
Is she the jumping ewok trying to look into the hut as C-3PO is telling the story in Return of the Jedi? Jartka'irn (talk) 13:44, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
return of the jedi should be included in the list of kneesaa appearances in this article.hasbro said leland chee said kneesaa appeared in return of the jedi im sure the ewok in return of the jedi that leland chee says its kneesaa is the white ewok standing next to wicket when wicket was looking at r2 right after the ewoks free han luke chewie and r2.even if leland chee statement about that ewok being kneesaa is not true in disney canon it should still be true in legends canon so this article should include return of the jedi in the list of kneesaa appearances
