Canon

  • *sigh* Can we please have more video games that directly contradict canon? What's next? A Star Destroyer with a droid captain and a Wookiee first mate? I can't deny that Juno is smokin' in the Imperial dress blacks, but can we get serious here? The Empire specifically discriminates against females and non-humans. It would have made far more IU sense to use Daala as the ship's pilot. Unless, of course, she dies during the course of the game, in which case she wouldn't be alive to participate in canon events that already center around her later in history. That would be one hell of a retcon. My point is this: Daala was stomache-able. I can accept that there was one female Imperial officer who didn't make the official shitlist. But two officers with extremely security-sensitive positions? That's a little hard to swallow. I really hope this game has some hardcore non-canon events in it so we can label the whole deal "heresy."

PS Point of interest: They've basically retconned into existence a class of star destroyer being named after this character. And don't even get me started on Star Wars character named after Greek Gods and Roman mythology *cough* Darth Caedus *cough*Thorvindr 12:42, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

  • Who knows? Perhaps Vader saw her as competent and gave her the job. We'll have to wait for the game to explain. Unit 8311 12:44, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
  • Plus, doesn't this take place at the early stages of the Empire? Maybe the discrimination hadn't take effect yet. -- SFH 16:36, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
    • Besides, does she have an established rank yet? If anything, she may just have a low rank, and that would comply with some of the things I've read in the Jedi Academy Trilogy and Darksaber about females in the Imperial military. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 16:40, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
      • What's the rank in the photo? DAWUSS 02:50, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
    • Well, the "discrimination" policy wasn't really brought into canon until nearly a decade after the first film. There was some Imperial discrimination evident in the films (especially in ANH), but female and alien Imperial officers have been shown both in old and new stories, regardless. One of my favorite moments was reading a comment on "Boba Fett: Overkill" going "Ugh, a female Imperial Admiral? That's against canon!" or something like it. VT-16 19:15, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
    • We've actually had female fleet commanders since the Marvel days. -LtNOWIS 07:24, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Sorry for responding to such an old post, but regardless of what the Empire's policy may be, when has Vader(or Palpatine for that matter) ever discriminated against women? There was never any point I can remember in which he looked down on women, and he always treated female opponents(Asajj, Leia) and allies(Ayyla) with the same respect he gave males. By the way, we've had other powerful female imperials: Isard, Mara Jade, Grand Moff Tavira(even if she cheated a bit), Lumiya/Brie, etc. And not only has Juno been used before in the Star Wars universe, but the Star Destroyer thing is silly since it's much more likely(and really, should be obvious) that both are named after the natural phenomenon. One thing I will be curious to find out is how .... eh.... affectionate... this romantic relationship is going to be. I have a bad feeling about this. Next thing you know it's going to be a repeat cycle of certain people's wishful thinking involving Revan and Bastila, where they wanna' see all the passionate PG-13 love scenes that can be put into one game without getting old and repetitive... DAWUSS 02:50, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

I say that we mention that she is cute as a button on the page. Fank 13:49, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

  • More than cute. Get real. "Juno Eclipse is the hottest human female in the Star Wars Galaxy, lusted after by every male of every species in the entire Galaxy." ;) --The Wolfe22 22:18, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Defection?

In the Force Unleashed miniatures set, Juno is listed as a Rebel. I guess this hints at a possible defection in the game (it should also be noted that there is a redeemed secret apprentice fighting for the Rebels as well). 138.38.163.38 14:53, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

I have her pegged as having Chief Bast's rank insignia. Thoughts? -Lynx

  • I believe Nathalie Cox referred to her off-hand as "Captain Eclipse" at Celebration IV. -LtNOWIS 10:18, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
    • That doesn't mean anything. Anyone who has command of a vessel, regardless of their actual rank, how tiny the ship is, or even if it even belongs to a military organization, is referred to as "captain". Hence "Captain Solo". Shock Wave 08:53, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
  • The SW Technical Commentaries site ([1]) lists Bast under the category of Major General. You're right, though, Lynx. She has the same rank plaque and cylinder arrangement as Bast. So what's an Army officer doing in command of Black Squadron? -Young coot

Edit

Someone needs to change 'nearly all Imperial officer's where played' to 'nearly all Imperial officers were played'

Where is the Spoiler Warning? I really wanted to know he gets killed by the Emperor at the end..thanks.

Black Squadron

Are you guys crazy?! Juno couldn't have been the leader of the squadron 2 years after the birt after the Empire. She was still a kid by then. Somebody change the date, for heaven's sake! 12.179.11.22 16:22, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

I changed the infobox photo from this:

  • on account of her looking like a cow in the first. Any objections?Unsigned comment by Darth Nikolai (talk • contribs)
    • I'm not really a fan of either. I much prefer this one, personally. -- Ozzel 02:49, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
  • The one without the hat is much better, imo. 72.74.197.103 04:27, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
  • If I had to pick between the two presented, I'd go with hatless. However, Ozzel's is better than both - more professional. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 04:55, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
    • Also, Ozzel's is promotional, while both the others are in-game. Drewton Era-old (Drewton's Holocron) 16:15, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
      • The latter is at least a little bit better now that it's in its proper proportions. -- Ozzel 09:29, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
        • if by latter you mean the hatless one. i agree. And frankly i don't like the promotional one.Darth Nikolai 15:14, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

So I guess we'll put it to a vote? I'm pro-hatless. "Am I going to see you again?" :-DDarth Nikolai 07:37, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

  • I second that motion. Sith Alchemy 101 18:08, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
  • I suppose I should mention that I changed the infobox image back to the hatless version earlier today. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 00:47, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
  • DEFINATELY OZZEL'S! DarthButterCutter 21:52, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

2.4 Rewrite

Sorry all, I don't have the game or comics or book at this point, but this sentence seems to read weird for me..."Although mistakenly believeing that the man she was a spy, she quickly discovered that he was, in fact, on a mission to exterminate the last of the Jedi." It's really just the 'believeing that the man she was a spy' part that is bothersome. Is it simply that the word 'she' needs to be removed? Resolve if you can. :) thx. Easy88 11:48, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

New one :) "After battling their was of Bespin with the now blind and inebriated General, they set a course for Kashyyyk where Starkiller would rescue something of value for Senator Bail Organa." The part "After battling their was of Bespin..." isn't reading / worded correctly. Please take a look into this. Easy88 11:48, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

  • Also taken care of ;-) Darth Nikolai 21:08, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
  • Hey, I thought Kota was found on Nar Shaada (sp), not Bespin! (Btw, just beat the game). Bespin was General Bel Iblis. (Wii version different from others?) Dstirani 04:32, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Protection?

Why is the article protected? Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it considering I wrote most of the current version (:-P) but I'm just wondering.Darth Nikolai 23:30, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Treason

I don't understand. How was Juno branded a traitor to the Empire? What did she do? Seriously, it's not like she helped Galen try to overthrow the Emperor during their travels, was it? DarthWill3 20:35, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

  • In order to cement the whole "Galen's an enemy of the Empire", Juno (and I'm assuming everyone Galen was in contact with) would be forced to become traitors, regardless of whether or not they actually did anything. Guilt by associations and all that. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 20:37, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
    • I meant during Starkiller's betrayal on the Executer. Why would Vader brand Juno as a traitor afterwards? Or was it the Emperor that branded her? DarthWill3 01:22, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
      • Jorrel's comment should apply to this question as well. As Jorrel said earlier, guilt by association. Since Juno was working alongside Galen to help him achieve his goals, that made her an asset to the opposing side of the Empire. // ~mikah~ 01:30, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Juno was a loose end and to help erase Galen's past, Vader branded her a traitor.

Lightside/Darkside ending

In the darkside ending Juno's fighter crashes into the Deathstar. Did she survive? It hardly looked promising... --Poyntz 13:51, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

  • We're to assume she doesn't, but it was never stated. But then again, Palpatine and Galen survived. // ~mikah~ 14:05, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
    • Palpatine and Galen are Jedi, she isn't. Poyntz 07:46, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
      • So was Kota. // ~mikah~ 16:22, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
        • True. But Kota had just been zapped by the most dark side proficient sentient in the galaxy. You've got to figure that the typical Jedi is pretty dead when they mess with the Dark Lord of the Sith. -Poyntz 12:36, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Picture 2.0

Why was the picture changed with no discussion? I, for one, hate the new picture. It makes her look like she hasn't slept in weeks.Darth Nikolai 15:58, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Redundant

The quote placed in the end game section is completely redundant as it appears in the top. I'm going to erase it Darth Nikolai 02:30, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Force Unleashed 2

Shouldn't it be mentioned that she's become a captain of a Rebel ship? In gameinformer it mentioned that Galen had a vision of her as a captain.LordStarkiller1993 01:00, May 10, 2010 (UTC)

Image

When are we gonna get a screenshot of her from TFU II up here? --Darth Praxus SithEmblem-Traced-TORkit (Did somebody order a miracle?) 03:10, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

Age

Was looking through the Force Unleashed book, and it directly stated that she was Starkiller's age. Since we have a clear confirmation in that regard, how could it be worded in the template? The first half of the story takes place in 4 BBY, when they are both sixteen years old (logically speaking). We have a clear date as to when Starkiller was born, so the obvious thing to do would be to assume that she too is the same age as he (unless, of course, Juno was a few months younger and born in 19 BBY). Either way, we have an estimate as to when Juno was born. How could it be worded in the Template without giving an exact year? Darth Ravigious (talk) 18:17, November 18, 2014 (UTC)

  • Without a source specifically stating a year, we should not speculate her age. As was said on here previously, and as you mentioned, she may have been born a few months earlier or later than Galen Marek (a different year), and still be the same age. Trip391 (talk) 18:20, November 18, 2014 (UTC)
    • On the Bastila Shan article, in the birth section, it says "Ten years after Meetra Surik." Could something similar be done here, like, for instance "Within several months of Starkiller"? Darth Ravigious (talk) 18:23, November 18, 2014 (UTC)
