Corellian

Does Outbound Flight specifically identify him as a Corellian? -- SFH 01:25, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

  • Can't speak for Outbound Flight beyond the excerpt in The Unseen Queen, but in "Mist Encounter," Thrawn indicates he learned Basic from Corellian traders. That would seem to tell us Car'das's lineage. jSarek 09:53, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
  • Yes, it does. p.345, speaking to the Vagaari: "I'm a human from a world called Corellia". StarNeptune 14:51, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
    • On the other hand, just to provide another viewpoint, could he be lying? I agree he really has no reason to lie on this point - it's highly unlikely that the Vagaari have ever even heard of Corellia or any of the other Core worlds, but still, it's a possibility that he was being misleading on this point. Name from charity auction?

I seem to recall reading that this character got his name from someone who won a charity auction to be mentioned in a SW book. Apparently, the person bid big, and Zahn said something like "for that price, you'll get more than a bit part." Does this ring bells for anyone else? Google doesn't seem to be turning anything up, but I know I read it *somewhere*. jSarek 04:49, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

  • Are you thinking of Sena Leikvold Midanyl? Kuralyov 04:52, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
    • No, it's definitely Car'das that I'm thinking of. Though that explains why Sena's middle name always seemed to me like an Earthly surname. I actually think Zahn auctions the naming rights for charity fairly regularly - it seems from here that "jedimaster6872" won an auction to be a Jedi who dies in Outbound Flight, as well. jSarek 05:27, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Went aboard the Chaf Envoy?

"Car'das then accompanied Jinzler aboard the Chaf Envoy when Aristocra Formbi greeted them, although Jinzler couldn't comprehend the discussion between Formbi and Car'das." A small detail, but I could've sworn Formbi flew out, then took Jinzler back to the ship. Unsigned comment by 216.51.199.142 (talk • contribs)

19 BBY?

In the opening of the article it is stated that Car'das met Thrawn in 19 BBY, but when Car'das, Qennto, and Maris had their hyperspace accident and ended up meeting Thrawn before the events of outbound flight the Clone Wars hadn't yet began meaning the events of outbound flight were at least 22 BBY. You need to check your facts

you say he was born 50BBY, as that he began the Bargain Hunter stuff, in 27BBY. So he was 23 years old when he went to Bargain Hunter. Ok I can accept that. Now he participated in events involving The Outbound Flight Project, Outbound Flight Jorus C'boath's stuff began in 27BBY, During the Old Republic, and you say that Darth Sidious, who you say at this time was Supreme Chancellor was behind it all. This can't be so someone has their facts all messed up, because the Clone Wars didn't start until 22 BBY, and Ended 19BBY there's no way Palpatine was Emperor during this time, I think He might have been a Senator, and I believe he and C'boath had some correspondence, He wasn't emperor during this time, though it says in one of the articles that Palpatine took the Office of Supreme Chancellor in 32 BBY, But the clone wars started just as he got into office.Unsigned comment by 205.137.190.200 (talk • contribs)

Palpatine became Supreme Chancellor in 32 BBY. The Clone Wars started in 22BBY. He was the Chancellor for ten years prior to the war. - Cavalier OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 15:15, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Bpfasshi Dark Jedi Incident

The period in which the Bpfasshi Dark Jedi fled seems to be in contention with the entry for Bpfasshi. Heir to Empire clearly states the incident on Bpfassh took place during the Clone Wars. That would place Car'das' kidnapping and Yoda's duel with the Dark Jedi on Dagobah during the War and not after. The Dark Side stain created by incident would also lead Yoda to return to Dagobah to hide near during his exile. ––Tem_Starrunner––

Face Model

Is it just me, or does he look like he's based off of a young George Lucas picture?--67.189.155.19 16:43, August 18, 2013 (UTC)
