Awesomeness
This Guy Would Be a awsome Bounty Hunter Or Sith —Unsigned comment by 24.198.187.147 (talk • contribs)
- Yeah, I agree they'd be awesome as one. But does anyone have pics of them without their armour? —Unsigned comment by The Don of DC (talk • contribs)
- I happend to notice the same armor in this movie: movies\01g.bik, it shows the player wearing it in a swoop bike, it may have nothing to do with Iridorians. --Jinger 13:38, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Iridorian Armor
A KotOR-era swoop race suit.
Here's a picture from KotOR showing a swoop bike crashing during the Taris season opener. You only get to see that scene if you race too many times and the prototype engine explodes (that's probably why only a few noticed) but that's the same suit, it really can't be an iridorian armor. Manaan has a pretty popular swoop racing track, maybe that's why that Iridorian merc was wearing it. --Jinger 23:20, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
well maybe..
Maybe its just me but could it possibly be, one chance in a thousand, that the guy seen in the swoop bike is the mercenary and he decided to race for some unkown reason or other?? Beyond the tidbits KoTOR gives, there is no real good information about Iridorians. Its really sad because they sound pretty interesting, but its still unconfirmed, at least for me, whether the Iridorians and Echani are classified as Humans or Near-humans. I mean with all the bloodlust and berserker like attitude that the Iridorians put out there you'd think they'd have a thicker back story, maybe a home planet, possibly theyre still around to see the New Republic era.. --DarthEjis 22:41, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- The guy in the swoop bike is the pc, it's a scene in which your swoop bike overheats and explodes after racing one too many races. Besides, the merc is on Manaan, that swoop race is on Taris. --Jinger 22:04, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
Species or No?
I may be mistaken (it's happened to me at least four times in my lifetime), but I don't believe they ever say anything to suggest that Iridorians are a species of their own. for all we know they're just a race of people from the planet Iridor or something. I don't know that there is sufficient evidence to say that Iridorians are their own species, particularly since the only one we've ever seen was in full body armor. —Unsigned comment by Darth Ceratis (talk • contribs)
- It's not like the Mandos or Echani were species, so yeah, there's no reason to believe these guys are. -LtNOWIS 03:33, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
Confirmation for Armor?
At first glance, I'm pretty sure everyone thinks he's in armor, but with no other appearances, isn't it possible that they just look like that? Is there any dialogue that explicitly states he's armored, or is this a possibility? IjtzoiClickyTalky 19:30, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- Unless they are some sort of cyborg species, I can't see that being their natural appearance (especially since they seem to have reused the model for Revan in swoop racing armor). —Silly Dan (talk) 03:07, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Look Alike Armor
Does anyone notice the similarities between the Ailon (species) Armor and the Iridorian Armor ?

Iridorian Sighting
- There was an Iridorian Bounty Hunter in Volume One of Clone Wars.
He fought Asaj Ventress during her battle before she met Dooku for the first time.
Sadly obvious, but I thought I should point it out, seeing as no one else has noticed for some reason. --The truth hurts... 19:23, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Merge to Zabrak
As you can currently see in BTS, the Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide referers to the species as Iridonians. Additional clarification was provided by Rodney Thompson here:
- "We were specifically instructed by LFL to call it Iridonian and that it was the KOTOR video game that was in error."
- "We have to go by what LFL says. In this case, I believe it's a case where LFL doesn't want both Iridonians and Iridorians out, there, so they consolidate it into one. As for who the Iridorians in the KOTOR games are, well, they ARE in heavy armor, so we don't really know what they look like underneath."
I believe it is enough to prove that such species as "Iridorian" does not exist in the LFL Holocron continuity database and therefore has no place here as well. Since we don't know exactly who that guy in KOTOR was, I propose we make most of the existing page content a subsection of Zabrak page and explain the situation in BTS of that page, making this one a redirect. I'm listening for objections for a couple of days, then I'll do it myself :) Mauser 10:54, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- While I think this was originally a game error, alot of the info in this article seems to conflict with most other canon. Bloodthirstiness has not been a trademark of any known Zabrak, for example. IIRC, we do have articles on things which were originally errors in printing. Sure, LFL told them to call the species Iridonian, but that's not how it turned out, is it? I say better to go with the finished canon product rather than the development directions of LFL. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 11:17, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- That is, unless Lucasfilm gives a specific statement that iridorians are iridonians, of course. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 11:19, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- That's sure what those quoted statements look like to me . . . jSarek 11:47, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- I'd leave this as a separate article, and consider them a type of Zabrak myself. —Silly Dan (talk) 12:59, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Another idea: since the description of the species is indeed very different from Zabraks, how about we move this page to Iridonian (correct spelling), leaving most of the info, and then explain the situation in BTS with something like: Whether "Iridonians" are just another designation of Zabrak species, a separate society and culture within the species (like Morgukai), or simply another species, also native to Iridonia, remains unclear.? Mauser 20:42, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- I like Mauser's idea. The quote is unconclusive to me; there's too much ambiguity in it. I would rather wait to see some canon source saying "Zabraks, also known as Iridonians [and sometimes Iridorians]" before moving this page.--Skippy Farlstendoiro 07:27, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, it's moved. Someone get to work on that Bts before folks get confused. ;-) jSarek 19:51, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
