How come nobody has pointed out the obvious reference in the naming of “The Invisible Hand” referring to Adam Smith’s idea of an invisible hand controlling the markets? It makes clear sense since the separatists are portrayed as business/corporate interests. Somebody add this to trivia/behind the scenes or something. Not sure if I put this in the correct place since I’m on my phone, sorry lads and lasses
- Because it would be speculation. Unless you have a valid source that states the ship was named after the economic theory, it cannot be added to the article. Thanks. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 21:43, July 2, 2019 (UTC)
Possibly merging these articles
- I think we should consider moving the article about this Providence to here. It bears a striking resemblance to the Invisible Hand and it is commandeered by Greivous and was used at the tail end of the Clone Wars. While not "officially" confirmed it still bothers me that these are considered different ships. Sith-3PO (talk) 22:00, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
- I agree with you in theory, but in accordance with Wookieepedia rules, nothing can be assumed unless there is no shadow of doubt, or it is officially confirmed.TheTrooperGuy (talk) 06:55, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
