Move

We will have to move this Republic Era since they take place at the same time and High Republic Era is just another name for the Republic Era.--Jkirk8907 (talk) 04:48, February 25, 2020 (UTC)

• I don't think that's necessary. The High Republic Era can be within the overarching Republic Era. For all we know the High Republic Era is a sub-era of this overall Republic Era, so until we know more I think it should remain in the same place--Vitus Infinitus^Talk 04:52, February 25, 2020 (UTC)
  • Agree. We don't know enough to determine the start and end of the era or whether it coincides or precedes the Republic Era, but it's clearly referenced by Luke and the marketing around Star Wars: The High Republic as a unique era. Plus we don't actually know when the Republic Era starts, just that it's after the fall of the Old Republic. We'll know more soon enough, I'm sure! Toqgers (talk) 06:08, February 25, 2020 (UTC)

Dating contradictions

I don't know if this has been explicitly confirmed, but it is pretty clear that the new High Republic Novels are going to be set during the High Republic Era. This creates a contradiction, because The Star Wars Book says that the high republic era started in around 300 BBY, and the new novels are set in around 382 BBY. If anyone can find a source confirming that The High Republic: Convergence, or The High Republic: Path of Deceit are set it the High Republic Era, that would confirm the contradiction. -ThrawnChiss7 (talk) 22:03, 21 April 2022 (UTC)

• It's pretty clear they are going to be, and I think it is fair to just say that the start date of around 300 BBY comes from before it was known what phase 2 exactly was going to be about or when it was set. It would be easier to just remove the start date Lewisr (talk) 22:29, 21 April 2022 (UTC)

High republic dates

I Have a question I did not know where to ask so I hope I am asking in the right place. On the page it says start of the high republic era was 300 bby but phase 2 takes place around 382 bby what is the correct start date of the high republic era? —Unsigned comment by 24.183.180.228 (talk • contribs)
