Missing info

Shouldn't we add a section that lists the Grysk's unique ability to make there 'Client' species eternally loyal to them and how by Commodore Faro's predictions only 100 of them could control a whole planet?Unsigned comment by StarGaming123 (talk • contribs)

  • Sounds notable. You're welcome to add the info, if grammar and referencing is adequate. Tommy Imperial Emblem Macaroni 16:23, January 10, 2020 (UTC)
    • Thank you Tom although i have a little bit of a problem such as this info would require a new heading and i have yet to figure out how to add one if you have a suggestion please send it forward but i will be rereading Faro's predictions to make certain I have them correct for when I add them.

I am having a issue with the quote I found the perfect one but i just cant format it correctly in the Source Edit some ideas on how to make them line up properly would be nice. But i'm mostly just saying this to show that i have figured out the heading and once this problem is resolved the section will be completed at around 3:50 CST Today.StarGaming123 (talk) 17:33, January 10, 2020 (UTC)

  • What you need to do is like this, you don't need to put them on separate lines. I figured it'd be easier to show you what you need to do, hopefully you see what I mean --Lewisr (talk) 17:46, January 10, 2020 (UTC)

I saw that someone changed the name to 'Science' while i do understand reasoning behind this no torture devices were used in this process so its not really a science and if we are supposed to add a science section there is equipment on grysk ships that is not common I recommend to save time we change it to a different title StarGaming123 (talk) 17:18, January 22, 2020 (UTC)

While it is a reasonable assumption that "Jixtus," agent and coordinator of the Grysks, is an agent of the Grysk Hegemony, it is only an assumption. Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy makes no mention of this hegemony, rather, mentions the Grysks as a group or species. Jixtus referred to himself as a Grysk, and his "faction" as "the Grysks" (Example: As I promised, we will guide you as to the nations most quickly and easily conquered, […] There are representative traders here from each of the four the Grysks feel are the most promising. We'll speak with them in turn, perhaps sample the goods they've brought for sale. You will then—), so it's not stated that he is part of the hegemony. And in the Thrawn novel series, the Grysks are mainly referred to as "the Grysks," while the hegemony is only mentioned by Chiss twice. ("She's navigated Grysk ships through a large part of their hegemony"; and "The Grysk Hegemony has intruded into the Galactic Empire and has furthermore committed multiple criminal acts against it. You are hereby ordered to withdraw immediately from this system and from the Empire and return to your own territory.") I would remove everything related to the Grysk Hegemony from every Ascendancy page related to the Grysks, but I would like to hear others' thoughts. (For short: We're making assumptions, the Grysk Hegemony is not confirmed to be affiliated with Jixtus, etc.) Samonic ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol 09:08, 12 June 2022 (UTC)

  • I definitely agree. Saying that because Jixtus was a Grysk he was automatically a member of the Hegemony is speculative. For all we know, the Hegemony was formed after the events of the Thrawn trilogy, or there are just multiple Grysk groups. VergenceScatter (talk) 05:00, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
