Deleted scene

This article is using material from a deleted scene in The Phantom Menace. However, I thought it was agreed that material from deleted scenes is not considered canon unless we get a say-so from an official source that it is. Or has something changed that I hadn't heard about? ProfessorTofty (talk) 05:09, January 22, 2015 (UTC)

  • Bumping this because I am also curious. Was this scene mentioned somewhere else? --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 13:34, July 10, 2015 (UTC)
    • Actually, it's mentioned in the relationships section of Greedo's Encyclopedia article. How, as that function is now broken, to view the text you have to press SHIFT and U to see the source. - AV-6R7 (talk) 22:50, August 10, 2015 (UTC)
      • I just saw the link after removing information from the deleted scene. It confirms that Tattooine was a homeworld for Greedo and it confirms that he had a relationship with Anakin. I didn't see anything that makes the exact events in the deleted scene canon, though. DarkKnight2149 00:34, March 19, 2016 (UTC)

Actually, I just found a paragraph that says (and I quote):

"As a boy on Tatooine, Greedo accused Anakin Skywalker of cheating in the Boonta Eve Classic podrace. After a brief scuffle, Greedo's friend Wald warned the young Rodian: "Keep this up, Greedo, and you're gonna come to a bad end.""

That's pretty much the entire deleted scene. To avoid future confusion, here's the full link for anyone who may need it:
