Yes, Kura was once new too.

All right, I don't know why the image isn't showing up...And I'm not sure what her color's supposed to be. I'm a bit new at this.Kuralyov 19:53, 19 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Personally I think we should use the image from the original Essential Guide to Characters. The pictures in the revised version are all kinda strange (and the artist obviously can't draw any other female hairstyle other then long and perfectly straight). The original picture, I feel, really captured how Gaeriel was described in the book. The image of Gaeriel from the revised Essential Guide doesn't look like her. It doesn't look like someone who would go barefoot all the time like Gaeriel was pointedly described several times in the book, and she was always described as having long blue skirts and she's always pictured as wearing somewhat rustic clothing...not wearing white gowns. The New Essential Guide is completely messed up; we should use a picture of Gaeriel as she's been imagined and drawn many times, not just this one errorneous drawing. --Promus Kaa 03:43, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

"New Republic Characters"

Bakura was never a part of the New Republic, was it? Granted, I haven't read any of the Corellian Crisis/NJO books with Bakura in it... Kuralyov 01:13, 20 Jul 2005 (UTC)

I thoght Bakura joined the Alliance of Free Planets, which became the New Republic--Killik 22:56, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

  • While Bakura remained independent, it was affiliated with the New Republic. That is the only requirement a character needs to be included in that category.--Darth OblivionComlink20px 17:34, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

Infobox Image

Seeing as there's been a recent disagreement over which image to use in the infobox for Ms. Captison, it was asked that it be put to vote so here's the options. Here's examples of what the page looks like with each image; Full image, Cropped image. Full image

  1. I'm going for the full image, because it shows Gaerial in her entirity, isn't cut at and awkward place, isn't darkened beyond what it looks like in the original source, isn't a jpeg resaved as a png which only takes up more space without adding to the quality, and isn't a modified image which technically breaks fair use. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 21:08, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
    I'm sure we can find a crop that better suits your tastes. The cropped image is not darkened at all. It's saved as a .png to avoid .jpg artifacts. --Imp ATATatarismall.png 21:19, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Cropped image
