Yoda?

Should Yoda's lightning strike on the tree in The Last Jedi count as Force Lightning? --StargateFanBB (talk) 09:48, December 20, 2017 (UTC)

  • I don't think so. It's an ability purely derived from the dark side of the Force, and I didn't see any indication that Yoda was channeling the dark side. I'm not even sure if he could, since being fully immersed in the light side is a condition for becoming a Force spirit in the first place. As far as I could tell, he merely summoned a bolt of lightning from the sky, whereas every example of Force lightning I can think of depicts that power as being channeled directly through the user's hands. Jedi Affiliation

Ben Solo?

I thought that was a Force vision, we even see Palpatine is talking while Ben Solo fights with Ren?

He also doesn't even hit Ren with Force lightning... Infact it doesn't hit anything we see --Marco 1907 (talk) 20:28, May 11, 2020 (UTC)

  • Yeah, the lightning doesn't seem to come from Ben in the comic, it surrounds him and Ren as they fall. It's a bit too much speculation to say he's the one causing it. RattsT (talk) 21:04, May 11, 2020 (UTC)

Positive/Good uses for Force Lightning

Defribulator to restart a heart/revive someone. Emergency Power/Battery Charge. Reactivating Droids. Imagine a Jedi posted to a field hospital camp, power goes out in a storm, Force Lightning to the rescue!

combining two sentence that are basically the same just different user

the two sentence that i mean are : 1 " Mace Windu and Rey were both able to deflect Sidious' lightning back onto him using lightsabers. In Rey's case, the force of his own reflected lightning was what ultimately destroyed Sidious" and 2 " Quinlan Vos was able to deflect the Force lightning of Tyranus back onto him with his lightsaber " Both sentence can be found by "Counteractions' and effects"

Force lightning occurred in at least six colors but only 5 listed?

It currently reads: Force lightning occurred in at least six colors; blue, green, yellow, white, and red.
