Kanan's Padawan?
"Ezra Bridger was a Human male rebel from the planet Lothal and the Padawan of Kanan Jarrus."
Is it appropriate to call him a Padawan when Kanan is technically still one himself? Would it be better to call him a student or apprentice, or are we to assume that Kanan informally proclaimed Knighthood? HanYOLO (talk) 01:05, November 1, 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry you never got an answer until now. Yes, it is appropriate to call him Kanan's Padawan. He has been referred to as such many times in the show now. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 00:35, January 4, 2015 (UTC)
Star Wars : Return of the Jedi
Obi-Wan: You cannot escape your destiny. You must face Darth Vader again.
Luke: I can't kill my own father.
Obi-Wan: Then the Emperor has already won. You were our only hope.
Luke: Yoda spoke of another.
Obi-Wan: The other he spoke of is your twin sister.
Could Obi-Wan have lied to Luke about the other hope, similar to the way he lied to him about who Vader really was?
Could the the other be Ezra?

I'd have to agree with Cade. While Ezra is strong in the Force. It's debatable if he would have the caliber of Force Potential it takes to take on someone like Sidious. I remember a theory someone had about Obi-Wan actually talking about Anakin as the other. And while that ultimately came true. It goes against both Obi-Wan's and Yoda's beliefs at the time. Obi-Wan had believed by that point Anakin was beyond redemption -He's more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil.- and Yoda even said -Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will.- so i think given they knew how powerful Anakin was in the force they would need that same caliber of potential to destroy Sidious. So the off-spring of Anakin would be the most logical choice. Eclipse3161999 (talk) 04:10, March 7, 2016 (UTC)
Hair color
In Servants of the Empire, Ezra's hair is described as black, and it's drawn that way in Kanan #1 and in Rebels concept art. It seems like the blueness in the show is a quirk of the animation, especially since in later episodes it looks darker. So shouldn't it be listed as black instead of blue?--23.120.173.167 03:01, April 12, 2015 (UTC)
I'd suggest to describe Ezra's hair as both blue and black, seeing that different media seem to depict his hair differently. But I would say it definitely comes across as blue in "Rebels", compared to actually black-haired characters like Pryce, and given the different in universe-depictions of Ezra some of which clearly make out his hair as blue. Additionally, according to the Wook itself, Ezra's father has blue-black hair, so, it would seem accurate to me to describe Ezra's hair (at least according to his depiction in "Rebels") as blue SagaSeeker (talk) 14:17, October 26, 2023 (UTC)
Beast trick/ control?
Remember that KOTOR2 power you can learn on Dxun? Is Ezra's ability to tame/ summon animals related to this? I know what you're gonna say "it's an assumption, and as long as sources don't agree with it, it's not canon", but the sources may not be aware of beast control in a particular game, so...--Fekyu (talk) 11:17, April 17, 2015 (UTC)
"Talent to Connect"
In Rebels Recon #2.10, in response to a fans' question, Pablo Hidalgo mentioned that:
Ezra really shows an unusually strong ability to [connect], even without training... And throughout Season 1, we saw evidence that Ezra has this really strong natural ability to connect to nature and everything around him... Ezra's sort of natural ability to bridge with other people.
Shall we add "Force Connect" to the Powers and Abilities section?
I am not certain of adding it myself because I'm not sure whether "Force Connect" should be interpreted as a general connection to the Force, or a specific Force ability new to the New Canon. [ pepoluan talk ] 11:13, February 8, 2016 (UTC)
Powers and Abilities
The Powers and Abilities section should be expanded as a result of the second season such as when Ezra used a Mind Trick in Homecoming and his lightsaber skills improved to the point in which he could competently fight Imperials in Stealth Strike and fight Kanan to a draw in Mystery of Chopper Base. Also, Ezra mentioned in Shroud of Darkness that he studied Form IV through Anakin Skywalker's recording in Kanan's holocron. This section of the page needs updating. Jedi Legacy (talk) 05:28, April 7, 2016 (UTC)
- He said he studied some techniques from Anakin Skywalker's recording. He never mentioned anything about Form IV. [ pepoluan talk ] 07:19, July 16, 2016 (UTC)
Image
The Image used for Ezra is currently a still from the Season 3 preview, but might I suggest the artwork of him shown in the Star Wars Show's thumbnail? [1] I think this would make a good image to use for Ezra's new lightsaber as well, at least until a better option arises. --NotCrazyCarson (talk) 15:40, July 14, 2016 (UTC)

Rank?
In S4E3, Mon Mothma calls Exra "Lieutenant Commander". Wouldn't this mean that he outranks Hera, since she is only a Captain, despite being with the rebellion for much less time? —Unsigned comment by Connorlee17 (talk • contribs)
- I don't really know how the ranking systems work so I can't really answer your question, whilst technically he maybe does I'd imagine that to the rebels Hera outranks Ezra due to her experience etc, as Rex says 'in my book, experience outranks everything' --Lewisr (talk) 16:48, October 26, 2017 (UTC)
- In the real world at least, Captain outranks Lieutenant Commander in naval ranks. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 16:51, October 26, 2017 (UTC)
Relationships
Before this series concludes, I would suggest that an explanation be included as to the relationships that the main characters have to each other. In other words, how does each character relate to each other? George.e.pierson (talk)
- Agreed. Character relations was a big part of Rebels so the main characters should have a relationship article on their pages. And some other characters (Not in rebels) do have relationship categories on their pages.
Battlefront II
Someone added Ezra as Imo to Star Wars Battlefront II, yes Lando says Luke reminds him of a rebel kid he once met, but is it certain to be Ezra? He barely even interacted with Ezra and I'm pretty sure he didn't find out he was a Jedi. So I'm not sure what of Ezra would remind Luke of him --Lewisr (talk) 04:01, November 20, 2017 (UTC)
- Indeed, It could be a reference to him, but Ezra never interacted as a Jedi near Lando I think.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:09, November 20, 2017 (UTC)
- Nope he didn't, unless someone has some sort of confirmation from elsewhere we should hold off adding it --Lewisr (talk) 04:13, November 20, 2017 (UTC)
- Definitely shouldn't be added without proper confirmation. Without confirmation, it's just speculation.Supreme Emperor (talk) 04:46, November 20, 2017 (UTC)

New main image proposal
While the current main image is a very nice promo shot with the background removed, it is a 3/4 profile shot, and not ideal for an infobox image. I am bringing this alternative to the table. - JMAS

Ezra's second lightsaber
Probably worth adding a note in the "Liberation of Lothal" and/or "Legacy" sections about the fate of Ezra's green lightsaber after he disppears into the unknown. We see Sabine Wren using it after his disappearance in the last episode of Rebels, and it looks awfully like she's still wielding it in the latest Ahsoka trailer. 203.211.110.16 03:38, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
Ezra's appearance in Ahsoka
Hello there! Just wanted to ask a question (or I guess make a proposal) regarding Ezra. Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to list his skin colour as tan based off of his portrayal by Eman Esfandi in Ahsoka. Ahsoka is the more recent project and presentation of the character. Live action is often considered the definitive version of SW content, and seems to take precedence over sourcebook material. Thanks in advance! --Bespashin (talk) 19:49, December 10, 2023 (UTC)
- The description in the book does not necessarily contradict anything, so I don't see anything that needs an "update" per se.
Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 02:30, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
- Whilst copper skin does fall under the category of ‘tan’, Eman Esfandi’s skin colour is not copper, making the old description of Ezra innacurate. As for hair colour, there really isn’t any argument you can make there. It is dark brown, not black. That isn’t subjective, it’s factual. Ben Solo’s hair is far, far darker, and only appears to have the slightest tint of brown in very specific lighting, yet his hair is still considered dark brown, not black. Ezra’s is much more obvious. --Bespashin (talk) 17:36, May 8, 2024 (UTC)
- I honestly don't understand why there wouldn't be any argument I can make: Daylight scenes in Ahsoka and images uploaded on Wook show the hair visibly black. Ahsoka audio description on Disney+ also refers to it as black. (Unofficial) media outlets and even the actor's own casting agency resume list the hair color as black. And of course, the junior novel says it's black. All these outweigh a photo of Eman Esfandi showing "the slightest tint of brown in very specific lighting," imho.

Will his infobox image gallery be altered based on Ahsoka Season 2
Hi. So with Ahsoka Season 2 coming out, according to behind the scenes leaks and concept art teased, Ezra along with Sabine and Hera appear to have changed. Ezra in particular has shaved his beard in the concept art and is suiting up in a pilot's uniform, Hera is wearing a new army outfit. And Sabine according to a BTS leak has grown her hair out of her usual Rebels look. If all these leaks add up and are shown in actual season, will Ezra's infobox gallery be updated to match his rumoured new look for the season alongside Hera and Sabine - A Fandom User 11:43, June 21, 2025 (UTC)
- There's not a concrete answer to that; probably, though. Wookieepedia does not generally permit discussion of (or adding content from) leaks though, so would be mindful of that and not do so on other talk pages. It also depends whether the show gives out a high-quality enough promotional image to replace the new one.—spookywillowwtalk 11:12, 21 June 2025 (UTC)
- So assuming that what the leaks show come true and just like in Season 1, there will be character posters which depict a new look then the infobox images be then replaced, right? - A Fandom User 13:43, June 21, 2025 (UTC)
