Notability

Would this article fall under this section of the notability policy?--Vitus InfinitusTalk 02:30, April 11, 2018 (UTC)

  • Technically yes as they haven't got a name like Zannah has --Lewisr (talk) 02:32, April 11, 2018 (UTC)
    • I think we should revist that policy, for cases like this. - AV-6R7Crew Pit 03:38, April 11, 2018 (UTC)
      • That clause is explicitly for things where we know it's the same character, like a background extra in Mos Eisley who's just sorta there in the movie but only has a name and backstory in Legends. The fact that Bane has an apprentice in canon does not mean it's the canon equivalent of Darth Zannah. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 04:33, April 11, 2018 (UTC)

Why is Darth Zannah still listed as a Canon character? The only canon fact that was established is that Darth Bane had an apprentice. Nothing more. It's been more than a month since this issue was brought up, but Zannah's Canon page is still here. Just curious. Trying to learn the law of the land. Red Heathen (talk) 02:03, May 22, 2020 (UTC)

  • I have not seen nor read Star Wars Helmet Collection 2. Supposedly Zannah is named in it. Does anyone know if she is named as Bane's apprentice? If so, Darth Bane's name is not mentioned in the Appearances section. If she is not named specifically as Bane's apprentice, can ... IDK. The person who added this source was not clear what exactly is stated in SWHC2 other than Zannah is named. Red Heathen (talk) 02:19, May 22, 2020 (UTC)
    • See below, I posted what the issue says --Lewisr (talk) 02:39, May 22, 2020 (UTC)

Female

(Rover paul (talk) 19:46, May 8, 2020 (UTC)) can we add that zannah was female in canon (Rover paul (talk) 19:46, May 8, 2020 (UTC)) (20:06, May 8, 2020 (UTC))so we cant add that zannah was female in canon yet (20:06, May 8, 2020 (UTC))

  • Only if a canon source confirms that, which right now is not the case. We can't assume that characters in canon share their Legends traits. Zed42 (talk) 21:16, May 8, 2020 (UTC)

Helmet Collection

Is this source canon or is it on the same level as FFG? --Goodmind (talk) 13:12, May 18, 2020 (UTC)

  • For the most part it appears to be canon. Early issues seem to have a mixture of both Legends and Canon info, so I guess it depends on the specific situation --Lewisr (talk) 01:07, May 19, 2020 (UTC)
    • It is unclear from the contributor what exactly is said about Zannah in this issue.Red Heathen (talk) 02:19, May 22, 2020 (UTC)
      • 'The Inner Rim world of Ambria was an unpleasant desert world, oddly in tune with the dark side of the Force and so was sparsely populated. It was rumoured to be the planet upon which Sith Lord Darth Bane, who created the Great Plan and the Rule of Two, was finally killed. He supposedly died in a duel with his former apprentice, Darth Zannah, a pattern repeated by almost all Sith thereafter'. That's what the issue says --Lewisr (talk) 02:23, May 22, 2020 (UTC)
        • Nice! Thank you. Well, that clears this issue up! Red Heathen (talk) 21:35, May 24, 2020 (UTC)

Behind the Scenes: Legends Photo

I removed the Legends photo of Zannah and Bane, which is from the cover of the novel Darth Bane: Rule of Two. It shows that Zannah is female, and we as of yet know little of Zannah other than they were Bane's apprentice and killed Bane. Red Heathen (talk) 00:54, September 10, 2020 (UTC)

  • I think its okay in the BTS section where it currently is, since its not saying that is Zannah's depiction within canon --Lewisr (talk) 00:57, September 10, 2020 (UTC)
    • But...and this includes the first appearance blurb I mention below, which was also reverted...this stuff is in the Legends article so it is not lost information. This is the Canon article for Zannah. Has it always been appropriate to use Legends material that is not in Canon at all in a Canon article, even if it is BTS? Red Heathen (talk) 02:51, September 26, 2020 (UTC)
      • Its okay to mention the first appearance in Legends in the BTS on the canon page, that's the standard thing to do for a subject that originated in Legends before it was canonised --Lewisr (talk) 03:15, September 26, 2020 (UTC)

Behind the Scenes: First appearance in Legends

I removed the blurb about Zannah's first appearance in Legends because it references a Legends comic. This is mentioned in the Zannah's BTS section on their Legends page. However, I did keep the blurb about the first mention of Zannah. Red Heathen (talk) 01:03, September 10, 2020 (UTC)

Darth Bane trilogy

Hi! Was just wondering why there is no mention of the Darth Bane trilogy here! a) it's really good, and b) has loads about Zannah because it's basically a trilogy following Bane's rise, choosing an apprentice, and ultimately his death when Zannah takes on someone else https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Darth_Bane_Trilogy It's by Drew Karpyshyn Unsigned comment by 131.111.5.130 (talk • contribs)

  • Hey there! Thanks for askimg. The reason is that this is the canon page for Darth Zannah, and the Darth Bane trilogy, which I agree is amazing, is from Star Wars Legends, so the information would not go on this page. It, however, is on the Legends Zannah page you can see in the following link Darth Zannah/Legends. Hope this explains! Lewisr (talk) 00:20, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
