Also: Darth Krayt is not and cannot be Jacen Solo. Don't even raise this question here. Read the article's "Behind the scenes" section to see why.

Physical Appearance

  • With the upcoming issue on the way, I suggest we keep a very close eye on Krayt's arms, I believe he may a have a massive scar on one of his arms. Sato Stars 03:12, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
    • Um... While I was on Darkhorse.com, I came upon this image. http://i9.[that bucket with the photos].com/albums/a95/pooface34/Krayt.jpg

idk how to explain it, but it looks like Krayt transforms into sumthing really freaky, anyone have any info on this matter?Sato Stars 03:35, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

  • No, I think that's just an animal. Krayt probably had armor made to resemble this animal. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 13:32, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
      • Does this creature have a name or anything?24.144.97.21 23:12, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
        • None that we know of. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 23:16, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
          • I just had a thought, perhpas it's nothing more than a dream of sorts.(Just throwing that out there) Sato Stars 02:25, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
            • a product ofSith Alchemy maybe?
            • I don't know why, but I think I'm gonna side with Sato Stars on this one and join the Krayt-can't-hold-back-the-"thing"-that-threatens-to-take-him-over-anymore school. I can't back it up, since I have no idea at all what Krayt was talking about when he mentioned said "thing" to Wyyrlok. But that sure looks like a "thing" to me. Erik Pflueger 03:35, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
              • Thats got to be Krayt. Look how the face looks like a mask. Lonnyd 06:43, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
                • Yeah, it does look like a mask. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 12:08, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
                  • It looks like Krayt's mask, but it blends so deeply into the rest of him that I've got to wonder if it really is one. Frankly, it looks like he drank some Balrog juice or something. Erik Pflueger 22:12, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
                    • Well, if that's Krayt, I think we can rule out "Human" as his species, unless Humans in 130 ABY and beyond can morph into a rancor-sized monster. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 22:16, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
                      • Or unless the thing that he is worried about taking over his body finally has. Lonnyd 08:10, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
                        • True. If that is Krayt, this could mean one of two things: His species, whatever it is, can morph from a humanoid to a rancor-sized creature, or there's a disease in the Legacy era that transforms people of any/some species into a monster. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 13:39, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
                          • Perhaps this is just a vision Krayt has about the "thing" that's threatening him.Sato Stars 18:01, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
                            • Well, we are just speculating as of now. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 18:57, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
  • There isn't anything in the picture that would indicate his size, so why would you say "rancor-sized"? - Angel Blue 451 21:33, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
    • If that thing is Krayt, it's definitely rancor-sized. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:18, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
    • That's Darth Krayt?! He looks creepy. Jaina SoloGoddess Stuff20px 00:21, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
      • Well, we don't know for sure. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:23, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
    • It's gross, well if it is Darth Krayt then this would be interesting. Jaina SoloGoddess Stuff20px 00:26, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
      • Indeed. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:28, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
  • I agree. I still don't see where you get the size from, though. - Angel Blue 451 02:09, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
    • If that's Krayt, then I'm using his mask as a way to determine the size, which, to me, appears to be rancor-sized. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 11:26, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
      • if that's the moon in the sky, then i'm using it's size to estimate that it's about the size of a tumb-tac... oh wait. it's rather large... hmmpf, our logic fails us! just because something looks big doesn't mean that it is. just check out the special features on LotR:FotR (Fellowship of the Ring). forced perspective.
        • Still, I think it's rancor-sized. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 19:45, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
      • I don't know. It could be one of those notorious dream sequences, but, hey, who really cares? It's all just spectulation, anyway. Adas Xendor 22:59, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
        • Maybe I care. And don't vandalize talk pages. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:44, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
    • And this is what people believe Jacen Solo would become, if I had a nickel for each time someone said that, I would be rich. Jaina SoloGoddess Stuff20px 00:48, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
      • I still say that this isn't Jacen. Perhaps Jacen was killed by Lumiya and she took another apprentice, or Jacen could have killed her and took on an apprentice. Or, perhaps... Ben Skywalker could be following in his grandfather's footsteps as well. While I know it's speculation, imagine a "Cade, I am your grandfather" moment. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:51, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
    • lol, could be. In Bloodlines it is mentioned that Lumiya would do anything to get back at Luke for destroying her. Lumiya would probably do something like that. Jaina SoloGoddess Stuff20px 00:59, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
      • Well, I just want to see the Ossus Project in the Legacy of the Force series. That way, it would probably be able to flow neatly into Legacy. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 13:10, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
        • Could it be Yorik-Kul? If that had been implanted in Krayt back during the Vong war, he would have had to put himself in stasis to keep it in check. Now that he's Emperor, he can't go into stasis without seeming weak and providing Fel an opportunity to strike back.19:35, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
          • "In Bloodlines it is mentioned that Lumiya would do anything to get back at Luke for destroying her"....Ah, where exactly does it say this?--Sauron18 19:47, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
            • Nowhere. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 20:05, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
              • Thought as much. --Sauron18 21:12, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
                • Its quite the opposite, in fact it states numerous times that she is well over Luke Skywalker in every way. Jedi Dude 21:13, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
                  • Jedi Dude, I can't believe that. I just typed "It's quite the opposite, in fact" before I got an edit conflict message. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 21:14, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
                    • Yeah I know, which is why I asked the person who originally said that about where they had gotten that, since I recalled the opposite. --Sauron18 22:18, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Jace were always conflicting eachother! :P. Jedi Dude 22:27, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
                      • Oops sorry about that it was the opposite. Jaina SoloGoddess Stuff 22:34, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
                        • Don't worry about it. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:18, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
  • People that IS Darth Krayt... Any of you actually read the comics? Here the explanation is in this online preview. Darth Krayt is turned into his fear As far as we know so far it wasnt permanent Saper ( 1 December 2006 (UTC)
    • Yes, that is Krayt. Krayt wears Yuuzhan Vong armor that causes all non-Yuuzhan Vong users of the armor to be consumed by the armor. Since Yuuzhan Vong armor is living,it morphed itself into that. Darth Aztec
      • Saper, we know that now. This discussion ended over two months ago.--Lord OblivionSith holocron30px 04:38, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
        • <sigh> Perhaps we should bold the dates? Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 13:55, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Not Jacen

  • I think we can cross off the idea that Krayt is Jacen. They have just announced a contest to pick Jacen's Darth name, so I don't see it being Krayt.Stinkywookie 17:29, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
    • I think it was generally crossed off peoples list anyway, it was unlikely for Krayt to ever be Jacen. And lets hope his sith name is decent.. Jedi Dude 17:50, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
      • If they want it to be decent, a good start would be not making the decision open to the public. Lets face it, most fan-made Darth names are terrible. Of course, I could end up swallowing my words. - Angel Blue 451(Holonet)20px 20:46, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
        • Let's hope we get a good one... Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 20:44, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
          • At last the text problem is fixed... ;) Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 20:47, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
            • Heh. Sorry about that. Out of curiosity, does anyone plan to enter the contest? - Angel Blue 451(Holonet)20px 20:49, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
              • I might... Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 20:53, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
                • Cool. I might as well, although that really depends on whether it's a Hyperspace-member only contest, and whether I can think of something that I think is worth submitting. - Angel Blue 451(Holonet)20px 20:55, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
                  • Well, I've got to study Jacen's behaviors before I can choose a name. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 20:57, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
                    • True. - Angel Blue 451(Holonet)20px 21:00, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
                      • And then, to the dictionary. Of course, we should probably talk about this somewhere else. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 21:09, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
                      • Yeah. If you want to continue the conversation, let's take it to my talk page. - Angel Blue 451(Holonet)20px 21:10, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
                        • Or mine, whichever you prefer. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 21:11, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Anyone know where this contest was announced? - Angel Blue 451(Holonet)20px 21:19, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
    • And when the contest will be held? Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 21:20, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
        • Well, I like my Sith name.... Darth Balls
  • I'm not sure we can entirely write it off, for all we know the name Jacen chooses will later be written of or something. I'm just saying, it's still a possibilty. --Sauron18 02:00, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
    • But it's also a possibility that any other Force-sensitive being is Krayt. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 14:29, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
  • They could be counting on someone submitting Darth Krayt... that was my first reaction when I saw the contest ("I'm going to submit Darth Krayt, heh!"). Greedo 02:39, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
    • Why bother with a contest, then? Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 11:34, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
    • It can'y be Jacen. Who knows Darth Krayt might be Ben. -- Jaina Solo(Goddess Stuff) 11:42, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Krayt doesn't have anything sees with Jacen. Jacen doesn't have an appearance like Krayt and it could never equal. For me, at that time of Star Wars Legacy, Jacen already this died.

  • Well, that's just your POV. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:06, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Gosh, just read the new Legacy, and now I don't know what to think, despite the Darth Who contest... I mean.. check this out...

  • Reciting the Sith code, mentioned in Betrayal and seeming to serve as a guide to Jacen as he moves toward Sith status.
  • The emphasis on going beyond power for purpose ("I have re-created the Sith, Lord Bane, as you once did. I have given it purpose. For what use is power without one?"). Note also the contrast between the Sith code (the "real Sith" ideology according to Lumiya) and the power-hungriness of Lumiya's "corrupt Sith" such as Bane, Sidious, etc.
  • The accusations of "heretic" and "pretender" from the Sith lords, which fits perfectly if it's Jacen attempting to use Sith power for an overall good purpose (galactic stability) or just in general not following the pattern of these "corrupt Sith."
  • "I forge my own way, I walk a new path"...

Soooo curious! Argh, let it be June 2008 already! Greedo 00:02, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

    • Man, I hope to God that Jacen isn't Krayt... Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:05, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
      • Despite the interesting connections, the Darth Who? contest does immediately disqualify Jacen. .... 11:56, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
        • But, as much as I hate to say it, they could still come out with Krayt being Jacen. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 12:01, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Contacting the dead

  • The last bits of information in the biography say that Krayt supposedly "activated the holocrons of Darths Bane, Andeddu, and Nihilus, and asked how he could live forever.". Can someone confirm the valadity of this? It sounds alot like fanon.
    • Sounds like fanon to me, but take a look at the scans(?) on their pages, doesn't look like a junky fan-funny book to me. Actually, looks a lot like the graphic style of the Legacy funny books. Darth Balls
