Cronal

  • Have noticed one thing which backs up the theory of Cronal=Shadowspawn. Look at each one's illustrtative picture - same or similar helmet.
  • Where did the theory that Cronal is Shadowspawn originiate anyway? I haven't read any sources that makes this claim, though I may have missed it. Can anyone provide the source? --Danik Kreldin 04:30, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
    • I'm pretty sure it's a fan theory only. It really ought to be removed from this article, at most placed in a Behind the scenes section. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 04:32, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
      • It was Abel Pena's original plan for Shadowspawn to be the same as Blackhole, but that was apparently rejected by Lucasfilm. Joe Corroney did some preliminary artwork for Star Wars Gamer #5 based on the idea, though, and that artwork was used as a reference for the picture in the NEC. jSarek 05:33, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
  • Abel Pena has recently made a few posts on TheForce.Net forums, suggesting that he continues to consider Cronal and Shadowspawn as one and the same (i.e., he has used the names synonymously). Barriss Coffee 12:03, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Have Abel said if he plans to elaborate more on Shadowspawn/Cronal? Will we get any insight to what Cronal's final fate was? User:Lightsnake

Sword

Is that a broad sword type lightsaber he is weilding in the picture?The Broox 01:58, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

  • I don't think it is a lightsaber, but it may be some sort of cortosis weave/Sith sword type...thingy. -- SFH 04:14, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Identity SPOILER

According to a poster on this thread, Shadowspawn, Cronal and Blackhole are all confirmed to be the same person. VT-16 14:46, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

  • But Cronal/Blackhole lives after the Battle of Mindor, right? So that would mean either Shadowspawn survives the battle, or the two characters are not the same, despite this new information. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 16:26, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

            • We aint doing any consolidation until at least December the 9th, or until a Wookieepedian can verify the info, not that I don't trust CH.     • What wording of the entry? Someone asked him about the identities and if they got merged and he said yes on those three being the same guy. VT-16 09:34, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
      • Right. But it doesn't make a clean fit. Until we know what else the source says about them being the same person, we can't just go merging it willy-nilly. Thefourdotelipsis 09:49, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

          • As I said, we're prepared. Here's the subpage Hydro and I have nutted out, and all we need is a transcript or a scan of Cronal's entry in the encyclopedia.
