  • Just a reminder: Cato Neimoidia is not the Neimoidian homeworld, as some users seem to believe. Although Cato is featured in Revenge of the Sith, Neimoidia is the actual homeworld, already established from the time of The Phantom Menace. Cato, along with Koru and Deko Neimoidia, are purse-worlds - Kwenn 19:09, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Region.

Again, we come into conflict over which region a Neimoidian planet is in. In the Ultimate Visual Guide, which I just received today, it shows Cato Neimoidia close to Neimoidia in the Core Worlds region. Now, it was believed that Cato Neimoidia was in the Colonies regions like Deko Neimoidia and Koru Neimoidia, but now, the galaxy map in the book shows Cato Neimoidia near the Neimoidian homeworld. Despite my support of "Cato Neimoidia is in the Colonies", I now realize that I must change that. And, by the way, Neimoidia is in fact in the Core Worlds region. Cmdr. J. • Except Cato Neimoidia was definitely in the Colonies region in the Fact Files map, and I think it was mentioned explicitly in text somewhere as well (if someone recalls the reference, do mention it; I *think* it was Labyrinth of Evil, but I'm not sure). Sounds like we have a continuity glitch that needs clearing up; I'll ask about it in the Galaxy Map Discussion thread. jSarek 17:13, 21 Sep 2005 (EDT)
    • Thank you. It is very confusing with all of these planets, because on prievious maps, Mon Calamari had been placed in another spot than in this map, Rattatak is shown near Bakura, and many other planets have changed spots. Also, new ones have been added in addition to Cato Neimoidia, such as Boz Pity, Felucia, and numerous others. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 23:34, 21 Sep 2005 (UTC)
      • JSarek, could you please re-post your question on the Galaxy Map thread? Whoever posted three times kind of took the spotlight away from your question. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 20:27, 23 Sep 2005 (UTC)
        • It's generally considered bad form to repost a question for a VIP, especially when the question is still on the last page of the thread. Leland Chee is probably just occupied with other work right now, though I hope he soon manages to find the time to come back to the discussion . . . jSarek 20:03, 11 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Was Cato Neimoidia mentioned at all in star wars: battlefront 2?

Quote?

Why is that the quote for Cato Neimodia? It has nothing to do with the planet itself, all it really says is Anakin saved Obi-Wan a lot, and he doesn't count something from a battle on the planet. Maybe for the battle it'd be good, but it has nothing to do with the planet. Ijtzoi 15:43, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

I put a nice quote about the planet from Senate Spy.

Bridge cities

I was wondering: should be create a 2nd article for the bridge cities, or just put it in the article? Unit 8311 13:48, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Spoilers

Could we maybe get a spoiler warning where Dawn of Defiance is concerned? I was researching the planet since we are currently their in the game and the article pretty much gives away the end of the Wretched Hive adventure. Now I have to play dumb for the next few weeks till we finish.

pitcure

we need a diffrent pitcure and a smaller one --Ponds11 01:39, June 28, 2010 (UTC)
Fixed the infobox image.--Chairman Jack the Black 01:41, June 28, 2010 (UTC)
Is there any legitimate reason why we use two pictures from the Clone Wars in this article and one piece of concept art when we could be using a picture from the actual movie? As much as The Clone Wars has screwed with EU cannon, the movies still trump it's level of canonocity. I don't want to see Wookieepedia become "The Clone Wars Wiki"98.27.213.72 03:38, July 23, 2010 (UTC)
  • At the moment, TCW offers the most unobstructed and least distracting views of Cato Neimoidia, as the few scenes in Episode III are mostly focusing on the battle, not the planet itself. CC7567 (talk) 05:24, July 23, 2010 (UTC)
    • Perhaps, but it's less detailed (given the nature of the art style) and of a lower level of canonocity. I'm not against having one, and I know the one in the infobox is there because it shows the planet from space and that's standard policy. But I feel like we can do better. I imagine that when a good screenshot from TFU2 comes out we'll probably be using it. I guess I'll settle for that.98.27.213.72 04:21, July 29, 2010 (UTC)

Cato Neimoidia: 100% Neimoidians

How can this be? FIrst off Merillion Tarko ran an imperial garrison on the planet in Tarko-Se does military presence not count as populates? The gladiatorial arena and casinos th surely not all by the labor Neimoidain workers, or was it? I guess this is probably to hypothetical, and less than important of course when the source was already cited and in every-way, concrete, but I wanna be proved wrong, or at least hear another opinion.

I have never played "Force Unleashed:II". And, I am well aware Neimiodians love their homeworld and would not kindly invite outlanders.

Cato Neimoidia is just a city on Malastare. It's not the name of the planet. I found this out on the video game The Force Unleashed 2. 72.131.12.175 10:46, January 7, 2012 (UTC)Drew
