Personality
Yo, I kinda need help expanding Cade's Personality so mind helping me out people? User:Master Shannara July 19, 2008 (UTC)
K, I just put in a paragraph about his independant nature. I hope it's ok. Jedigeneral 02:31, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Thanks but I'm gonna need some more. User:Master Shannara July 28, 2008 (UTC)
Just put in another few lines about his irreverence. Jedigeneral 18:22, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
I think his feelings about his heritage and the Jedi should be described, I tried putting it in words but I can't seem to do it. User:Master Shannara August 1, 2008
dude i think he was a cocky guy i know some quotes from the first comic i read i am trying to think and remember what the rest were.
- why do you use Death sticks?.
- they keep you away.
- they also endanger your harmony with the Force.
well i need to get that book when i go back to my library any way yeah he seems he was to cocky and he sounds like a brat (to me)
- now go away! or i will!

I'd say something about his selfishness might be good. Just read Storms part II and it seems to show him as pretty selfish. Any objections?Jedigeneral 18:15, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Relationships
Should we add in a part for his relationships, as we could include Deliah Blue, Azlyn Rae and Darth Talon?Sithlordsforever 15:59, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
Which one does he love then? —Unsigned comment by 76.179.113.49 (talk • contribs) He really loves azlyn,talon...he called her schutta.i don't why he hanged out with her but, maybe he coudn't resist it.read volume III.[unsigned
This is a great idea and I am in shock that it hasn't been yet... So I guess I'll have to do it.Jedi Scioli 01:30, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
Agree with former post...
Yeah, I think a section on love interest would be a great idea. Also, I'm new to this so if I do something wrong, just tell me. By the way, why did the edits I made to Cade get deleted? The info was factual and canon. deliah blue he really doesn't care for!at first she was all,get heck away from me!i can't beleive she for gave him!(April,2010)
Temporary Issue
Why is this article not considered up to date because of Vector 12? I understand why the flag says 11, but not 12, as 12 isn't even out yet and won't be for a while. Jedigeneral 13:28, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Cade's Age
In 130 ABY, it's says he's 14 when his farther dies, so in 137 ABY, he is 21! He was born in 116 ABY.
- Good idea, but you need a source, I think, that says he's fourteen in 130 ABY (I've heard it before, but I haven't seen a source). Also, sign your name. :) ARC Commander Zek 19:15, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
New Main Image
I uploaded this image and I figured we could use it as the new main image. It seems leaps and bounds better than the current one to me, but apparently Redemption thought otherwise. So what do we think? Yes? No? Maybe so? Dark Lord Trayus 20:24, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
- I would vote for the current image. Vryce 03:46, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

- "Leaps and bounds" is hardly a reason itself. I'm not going to dwell on this since I do have more important issues at hand but anyway. Headshot, typically better as it shows details of facial structure and all other features better then body shots (or waist up). Looks neater and more centered. With a waist shot, at 250 pixels, no details are seen. It's just a figure. This one, his eyes are all squinty and just doesn't look professional. --Redemption

- As busy as you may think you are, this is something of an important issue, as it's the main image for a main character of an entire era. I can understand the body shot argument, and that's easily fixed. But the face itself is far more visible in this image, his eye color is accurate, his facial structure is HIGHLY visible, and he squints all the time. If you look at the current one he's basically squinting there too. And the art itself looks way more professional than the one we have right now. The quote bubble and the fact that he's got something of an underbite in our current lowers the overall quality. Additionally, what we have now is TOO close up. Dark Lord Trayus 00:35, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- I just feel that the current image serves as a better main image. The headshot over 1/2 or more length, as well as the less of a squint makes it appeal to me more. Thus I'd keep it until we get something better. A detail of the Legacy Era Campaign Guide cover would be my second choice if others are agreeable to that as a compromise. Vryce 06:33, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- If you really wanted to use that image, a headshot would be better. Though I'm not a big fan of the current image either. I have a particular fondness for the image that's hanging around in the Appearances section (File:CadeSkywalker-SWLEG14.jpg), it gives roughly the same amount of detail as the current image without getting too close. It's only a little shorter and has a better facial expression in my opinion. Xicer9

Lightsaber Style
What style of lightsaber combat does cade use? in some images it shows him using an unorthodox shien grip on his saber and other times he's using a standard grip. So is it Shien or Djem So? jedi_master425 Oct. 31, 2009
- Perhaps it's both.--Thoggnee 16:48, October 31, 2009 (UTC)

Strongest Jedi ever
Ok it says that krayt called him "the strongest jedi ever" what the hell! Aha I mean first it's Anakin, then it's Luke, then It's Galen Marek, now their gonna say HE is the strongest? Wouldn't Anakin be considered the strongest IF he didn't become vader? Meaning Luke is the strongest as George Lucas said Luke represents what anakin would have been had he not become Vader.....and as for Galen Marek he could be considered less powerful than luke considering Luke killed Palpatine and Galen couldn't..So the list should go Anakin, then Luke, then Galen,...and I don't know how Cade could be the strongestHey btw I made this post i just forgot to sign in sorry about that.Guilsperm 22:53, January 24, 2010 (UTC) i know! but he's really obnoxius!he cussed at his mother!(unsigned) April,2010 It depends on what you mean by "strongest" If you mean normal force power (aka throwing, pulling, lightning etc.) it is probably Galen Marek. If you mean amazing and rare force power (life giving) it is more likely to be Cade. If you mean having amazing resistance to the dark side it's Luke. And if you mean physical power it's more likely to be Anakin.Sorciri 18:22, February 9, 2010 (UTC)Sorciri
Powerful Force adepts are stronger with the Force than others in their own way. If such a being were more powerful than others in every way, they would no longer be considered an adept but a god. Master Shannara talk April 28, 2010 (UTC)

Family Ties
So, now that Jag and Jaina are married in the latest book, and its almost guaranteed that Jaina is the ancestor of the Roan Fel, then should we have it at least mentioned somewhere that Cade and Marasiah are distant cousins? I mean, Cade is obviously descended from Ben. Ben was Jaina's cousin, so Cade and Marasiah are like....third or fourth cousins!--Jet Twilights 00:08, March 23, 2012 (UTC)
- give the timeline, Ben is probably Nat & Kol's grandfather so that would make them fourth cousins(Luke & Leia-bother & sister; Ben & Jaina-cousins; Ben's son & Fel II-second cousins; Kol & Roan-thrid cousins; Cade & Marasiah-fourth cousins). I think it is canon, but we aren't 100% shore, just 99% shore. --User:AH2000 07:28, March 23, 2012 (UTC)
- regardless, until we have some confirmation the Fel line is from Jaina and Fel, we can't add it. It's possible it's descended from another female that Fel was with. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 00:31, March 23, 2012 (UTC)

Jan Duursema and dark transfer
This is partially reposted from what I wrote on the dark transfer talk page.
I am a huge Legacy fan and know the comics pretty well. When I saw this article, I realized that Cade's ability has never been referred to anything besides something along the lines of "Skywalker's healing ability", "talents", etc. In 2011, I emailed Jan about this. Here is what she said: "Cade's healing ability has never been called Dark Transfer in the Legacy comics. I would be interested in hearing where this term came from."
If Jan does is not aware that THE CHARACTER SHE CREATED has a power, why should they be said to have this power on the definitive Star Wars information site?
In interest of full disclosure, I must add that Cade Skywalker is said to have Dark Transfer in the Legacy Era Campaign Guide, but I don't know what a roleplaying game guide's canon standing is, especially up against the character's creator.
WIERDGREENMAN (talk) 04:34, September 18, 2012 (UTC)
- The campaign guide is an officially licensed Star Wars source, and therefore it and all story-related material within it, is canon. While the Dark Transfer name never appeared in the Legacy comics, themselves, the collaborative nature of the Star Wars universe allows other individuals to add information into the mix. I would personally prefer a new name now that we know the dark side is not required to use the ability, but that's the canonical name we've been given for the ability at this time. Bella'Mia (talk) 05:06, September 18, 2012 (UTC)
- Got it. I'd also prefer a new name, as the guide came out before Cade started using the light side when healing.WIERDGREENMAN (talk) 05:11, September 18, 2012 (UTC)
