Binary dialect

I think it should be noted in Powers and abilities that Chopper speaks in his own dialect of Binary (consisting of squawks instead of chirps & whistles) but I wanted to run this by the admin before adding it. ~ Mando Jetii (talk) 03:15, October 31, 2015 (UTC)

Homeworld

In the Star Wars Rebels Magazine 6 it says that Chopper's homeworld is Lasan, although in Mercy Mission and Homecoming it is implied that Chopper is from Ryloth. Should we change the homeworld to Ryloth seeing as it is implied in the episodes and I'm sure the episodes are more of a reliable source than the magazine. --Kyle03 (talk) 12:13, February 18, 2016 (UTC)

  • The episode only said that Hera found Chopper during the Clone Wars, but not where exactly. The Mercy Mission short story IIRC also only said that Chopper had been with Hera for some time, again he might not necessarily come from Ryloth. At this moment, the only explicit information we have is from the magazine. So, I vote that we keep it that way for the time being.
The upcoming Chopper backstory episode would likely settle this question for good.  [ pepoluan talk ] 17:14, February 18, 2016 (UTC)
  • So the Chopper episode, The Forgotten Droid, only tells us that Chopper (1) was a military droid, (2) was a war hero, last involved in the battle on Ryloth, and (3) his Y-wing was shot down, then (4) was rescued by Hera.
Very thin information. But I think we should not change Chopper's "homeworld", because the facts imply that Chopper came from somewhere other than Ryloth.  [ pepoluan talk ] 18:07, March 16, 2016 (UTC)

Rogue One

Would this tweet be enough to confirm Chopper's appearance in Rogue One? --Lewisr (talk) 14:17, December 15, 2016 (UTC)

  • No worries, apparently so --Lewisr (talk) 14:19, December 15, 2016 (UTC)

Somebody Make a Chopper AI Soundboard!

You know, something where you type in a message & it outputs in his droidspeak.
