Death
Where does it say Palpatine killed Baas? I assumed he had died centuries before the movies and the Emperor only got a hold of his Holocron. Lieutenant Gerard 20:33, 8 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- I agree. Palpatine got Baas's holocron from Ashka Boda. I have yet to see any official source that that even states that Bodo was alive during the Jedi Purge. Joser Kyind
- I second and have already changed the info. Darth Kevinmhk 18:51, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
Can we use this?
A colored version of the Bodo Baas image.
I colored this in photoshop and I think it looks pretty sharp. Can we use it? I know that edited images are generally not used here but I figured I'd ask anyway.--DannyBoy7783 02:22, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- I don't have anything against edited images but I seem to be the minority. It matches the colors of Dark Empire, it's very nice, why not use it? --Master Starkeiller 08:47, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
- I'll wait a bit longer and hope some others respond as well and if no one oposes it I'll put it in. Thanks for the support Starkeiller.--DannyBoy7783 20:27, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
- Come on now, check this signature's timestamp and the previous one's and put it in! --Master Starkeiller 10:11, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

Separate article
What about having a separate article for the holocron and the character? --Eyrezer 08:57, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Group of Jedi?
"Baas was one of a group of Jedi who lived and served in the Adega system." Where is this stated? I found only "served in the Adega system" in the JvS. Please provide page number. Darth Morrt 10:20, November 29, 2009 (UTC)
- It's from Dark Empire. I'll fix the sourcing. - Lord Hydronium 21:23, November 29, 2009 (UTC)
Some minor problem
There are some statement in the article, which I disagree, but I don't want to change it without discussion.
- First: Baas said in the Dark Empire 5 in 10 ABY, that his master had wrote the prophecy 1000 years earlier. This gives around 990 BBY, not 1000 BBY.
- Second: Emperor said in the same book, that Baas had been part of the Adegan Jedi group 600 year ago. This gives 590 BBY, not 600 BBY. The TEGTC, based on this comic gives a slightly different date, 600 BBY. But I think it is just the error of the author. But since we don't have the right to decide what is an error and what is not, I think we have two dates of Baas being a part of the group. So he worked with the group between 600 and 590 BBY, and maybe before and after too.
- Third: The intro says, Baas inherited the Holocron from Vodo. This in incorrect. He inherited it from someone else, because Vodo died more than 3500 years earlier.

about the problems
Well in the "star wars: the essential guide to characters" it says that he'd been with the Jedi group 600 BBY, maybe the use of both 590 and 600 bby could be used as reference. it also says:
"Eventually becoming a Jedi Master, Bodo inherited one of several Jedi Holocrons passed down through generations. As had other masters before him, Bodo recorded his stories and those of the other jedi in the holocron. The glowing cube of the holocron could be activated by the touvh of someone in tune with the force. Several holocrons existed, each with its own interactive "Gatekeeper". Bodo Baas became the gatekeeper of his holocron. During the Great Jedi Purge, Emperor Palpatine had Bodo Baas executed, and the holocron in the jedi's belongings eventually passed into his grasp"
page 9 of "star wars: essential guide to the characters"
but I had an idea as a fanon (I dont think it could ever be canon due to conflicting stories) im writing a story about a clone commander Ive made up (also creating his image) who was under the command of Jedi Master Bodo Baas, essentially bringing him to palpatine after the order 66 was issued, arresting Bodo alive due to the self-appointed emperor gaining the knowledge of the Tedryn holocron. This leading to Bodos execution. This would obviously be set in 22-19 BBY, the characters name is Clone Commander "Fletch" CC-7124 commander of the 32nd Battle Walker Regiment later becoming the 32nd Sandtrooper Corps "The Bantha Brigade" under the reformed Galactic Empire. If this idea conficts with other stories please do tell me. —Unsigned comment by CloneCommanderFletch (talk • contribs)
